My Tesla reported usage has never aligned with my utility and I check it regularly online.There is something off on their (Tesla) side with home usage when a new day starts. Just take a look at that data at 12:01am. I’ve just learned to live with it.

My smaller 3.8kw inverter is doesn’t make that gurgling noise the larger one does but I haven’t seen any production issues. I might bounce them and see what the web interface show on both. So you’ve seen production issues that had you look into what the inverters might be doing.

After my reset it was fine but I wish I could just connect to the device and view errors without resetting it. Who knows what happens during the reset. Tesla might have this capability but would be nice if the customer did as well.

I’m in Texas as well seeing about a 9kw drop off of the peek but I’ve only had the system 3 months. 64kw today and 73kw on April 24th. Noting that other things can cause this but read heat plays a huge role.

As long as there isn’t a bridge to your home network it should be fine. That Neurio device can’t even be registered so no risk there.

I don’t see how that would work since it’s a peer to peer connection between the Neurio and the Inverter. You might have some interference with other things in your home or possibly neighbors.

That’s a good point because the antenna needs to be outside of those metal boxes. I would think that the distant needs to be pretty far for it not to connect or drop the connection depending on other interference.

How far away? The Neurio seemed to have decent range when I was trying to gain administrative access to it with my phone.

If you have the space add a subpanel if you don't already have one. Mine is in my main panel but I could move it if needed to the sub which is where my Neurio breaker is located.

I can but I’m still not home. Mine might not help much as stated earlier but will send it anyway. Also you need to be prepared to wait a couple of days to validate and possibly still make another change after that. What’s your setup look like?

That should help but when I got mine working you couldn’t tell which CT went where because of the conduit. My CTs aren’t in my main panel but there aren’t a lot of combos so I just tried them all .
