That USB icon means USB music - just like that Bluetooth icon means Bluetooth connected music. Those stay in the tray if you source music from one of those music options.

Mine required another reboot after another week. Seems to be working reliably for about a week between reboots.

So my dashcam continued to mount properly upon wake for about a week or more before it failed to mount again. I rebooted and it has been fine for going on another week now.

I’d also add that this problem will likely be exacerbated if you have other volumes mounted (say another stick full of gigs of music). The overall filesystem footprint will eat away at the available cache.

This explanation might shed light onto why my USB has been behaving correctly post-12.3.2. If they boosted the cache size even a little in .2, mounting my now-empty (freshly formatted) USB now lets it safely stay mounted within the cache footprint. It also explains why someone here said their’s...

Interestingly, after upgrading to 2022.12.3.2 from .1 my ❌ goes away when the car wakes up at first drive. It has done so reliably each day since the update. I have the dashcam icon in the tray so I can always see it.

Mine seems to break after every deep sleep but works until that happens. I’m formatting each time to get it working again. This is usually only after an overnight sleep.

I disagree with that definition. I have on several occasions been mere milliseconds away from applying the brakes myself when AEB kicked in and would have undoubtedly avoided any incident had AEB not intervened. I do however agree that bailing from the lane is idiotic.

I have successfully avoided AC funk in my last several cars. The trick is to “purge” the condensation by manually turning the compressor off for a few minutes each time (or a good percentage of the time) when you’ve run the AC. I usually turn the fan higher as well.

I’ll say with the current S lineup (slowest one matches the M3P and the Plaid is a beast) Tesla can finally do a few things to the 3 Performance that previously would have potentially cannibalized the S. I‘d like to see improvements to the power curve in the M3P, some kind of Spaceballs...

Heh, fewer and fewer gas cars shut off also, or are difficult to shut off. My previous car was a 2020 Supra (a BMW inside) and it had 3 power modes. You could manually sleep it (hold down the power button on the radio), or trust the settings and locked door to sleep it but things could keep it...

My initial setup was rough on a stock iPhone, so having issues isn’t limited to “expected” corner cases. Needed to uninstall and reinstall, reboot, etc and fiddle with settings to get past the app thinking Bluetooth wasn’t enabled.

Is the phone in a case? I have an iPhone X and I’ll be taking delivery of my 21 Model 3 in a week. Hopefully it’s not useless. My ‘20 Supra charged it fine, but cooked it - the phone got so hot it throttled the CPU and became unresponsive (or nearly so).
