every frameless window car i've ever owned didn't have to roll down the windows to open the door. it was a design "feature" Tesla decided on to reduce wind drag. most frameless windows "leak" after a while. my assumption is Tesla chose this design to prevent that.

its been pretty heavily documented. the a-pillar and rear speakers are not wired for audio and you cannot hook them up to the current audio as they would be under powered. while the speakers are perfectly fine, you'll need another amp.

i hate this term "heard" when referring to BT. BT is a radio transmission. if there is something obstructing the transmitter, it's not going to be "heard". when i run with my phone in my belt and with BT headphones, the audio will often get interrupted, but if i have my phone on the other...

honestly i don't think the updates are frequent enough to worry about your cell plan, unless you're still on an older GB restricted plan. i think you're in a tough spot, TBH. best case is to have overnight access to WiFi whenever possible.

do the reboot with the brake pedal. if that doesn't work, try turning wifi off/on and forgetting your AP. if that doesn't work, try the "tap advanced update" five times trick to see if you can "re-force" the update... ... if that doesn't work, go find Tesla Chat and have them re-push.

are you talking center console, above the cup holders? i have the crappy $7 chinese one that holds some coins, glasses, etc. considering switching to the deeper one that "covers" the USB ports as most of the trays block the light.
