My headlights are remaining on during the day on auto... it appears to be a bug

I assume the recessed location of the hitch will require the need of an extension. I have a 1upusa bike rack and they offer a receiver extension i think its about 8 inches... i assume i will need to use that

I ordered the aftermarket, its on its way to me... now I’m thinking of cancelling/sending it back and go with factory due to the software that is part of the factory option... Currently dont own anything to trailer other then a bike rack..but maybe in the future...

Can we get the part number for the wrap for the heat pump? My service center ordered the ac wrap but not the heat pump wrap..i would like to have them do both but is easier if i can just give them the part number to order for the heat pump wrap

I didn’t realize there was a separate ac compressor and heat pump...heat pumps usually run both cooling and heat so i thought it was all from the heat pump My local service center ordered the ac sound insulation but not the heat pump wrap.... i will need to get that part number

I do hear it inside when its initially spun up for the first 30-60 seconds..and can feel a little vibration in the steering wheel

If anyone can get the detailed technical service info for the other fixes for the sound that would be greatly appreciated... I’m concerned the wrap is not the only answer as it is a vibrating buzz a litte..but i need to get the SC to listen to me as they currently say its normal and its not...

That’s interesting..are there any retrofits for the first batches? My local sc ordered the wrap but should i push them on the o ring seals also? I want to get all the fixes if possible if i can properly educate the SC on what is needed

I have a similar sound when the system first spins up for about 30-60 seconds..then gets quieter... According to my sc they say that is normal and the y is a noisier system... Btw, the heat pump wrap is now available...i was able to get them to order that in

My spoiler was coming off so the local shop ordered a new one..the interesting thing is the spoiler came up as a model 3 spoiler description on the part in the Y catalog of parts.. Are they the same? Maybe thats why they dont fit great as they are not Y specific and the 3 is a little different...

Also a question on the vertical load limit vs tongue weight..not familiar on how to interpret that My bike rack is approximately 60 pounds, then each electric bike is 65 x 3. So about 250 pounds total weight... Does this fall into vertical or Tongue weight? Am i safe?

Hopefully they will allow ordering from the SC at that same price as the option on the new car.. Us early adopters that received it a month earlier then it offered should not be punished or charged more for the option that they should have offered a month earlier.... I have Ben considering...

Just heard from Tesla. They are telling me since it wasn’t noted at delivery they will not do a shop to correct it. I’m sure I’m about to have a fight on this. I may just go girl touch up and call it a day

I updated the service request that i am requesting an authorized Tesla shop to repaint the pillar correctly and protect the rest of the car from overspray/damage... ill make sure i meet with the shop before they work on the car to emphasize protecting the rest of the car to prevent damage to...

It was there before..i had told him Tesla was going to touch it up so he told me he would re apply as needed to that area..very easy going. I wanted to get the ppf and the coating on the rest of the car as my appointment with Tesla keeps getting pushed out as they are waiting for a interior...

Hey all, Need some recommendations. My car came with a chip/scratch on the Pilar down low on the inside Side... Do i let Tesla touch it up? Tesla repaint the pillar? Or buy 3rd party touch up and do it myself? I’m hesitant to repaint the pillar with fear it will never look right.. Thoughts

Here is my Y.... Just had xpel PPF on the front end and Xpel fusion plus ceramic on the entire car.. did not do the glass.. Very pleased....

I just ceramic coated and clear bra the front...the Detailer working the car found about 6 or so imperfections...small chipS and or paint imperfection but overall he said my Y is way better then most Tesla’s he has seen.. the feeling is though its expensive Y (performance) it still is a daily...

With that said the car still starts the cross over...so if it felt the double broken line was not allowed to change it wouldn’t start the crossover... therefore i dont think Tesla thinks it should not go...its probably not seeing it as double lines and only single until it crosses the first...

I dont think i would even worry about it since the range is so subjective to driving style and conditions...you could do better or worse... I seem to be pulling only 75% efficiency on the average with my driving style...

The other option is take it and resolve the issues. I have my Y with a handful of issues..any horrible not really...some adjustments, 1 paint chip and some trim issues. Overall anything horrible no, all fixable easily. I love the car and it does ride very well, trim and adjustments ill...

I’m not doing that great on range.. Performance PUP 21 inch wheels I seem to be averaging 325-350 wh. 70-75% efficiency This is with somewhat normal driving..if i push it hard the peaks go crazy high 900 on the graphs... 350 wh was today and really wasn’t driving heavy at all simply 50-65...
