    Scheduled departure epic fail

Tried again a couple times..... Thursday worked perfect, car was at 90% and warmed up. Set it for today, battery was at 55%, car in garage, woke up 45 min before I needed to leave, car hadn't even started charging. Was connected properly because I manually started a charge from the app...

    Scheduled departure epic fail

No it's not extremely cold here.... Used the old school scheduled charging last night and car fully charged no problem. I'm a 5 year owner. Never had the car not fully charge if I schedule it for 1230am start. I usually do 130am in summer and 1230am in winter. I've always set energy...

    Scheduled departure epic fail

Tried again today..... Battery was at 65%, set to 90%, dep time set at 615 am.... Checked with the app at 540am and the car hadn't even started charging, but then it did start while was watching the app. It's like the scheduled departure isn't enough to wake the car up, but then the app wakes...

    Scheduled departure epic fail

I can't see it.... I usually schedule my charge for 1230am in the winter, and even at 10% I'd be at 90% by 7am or so.

    Scheduled departure epic fail

2014 Model S 60 Just got the update and tried last night. Plugged in at 10pm with battery at 20%, scheduled departure 630am. Walked out to the car at 620am and climate control was on, but car charging at 40% battery. Is this software working properly for others?

    Premium connectivity

Can you get all features by using your cell phone data over WiFi? If it's 14 cdn a month it might make more sense to add more data to your plan.

    Supercharger - Kingston ON

Is there still something wrong at the Kingston site? I'm local and drive by often, and usually hit the button on the map in my car to see how many people are charging (out of curiosity). It seems to always say only 1 or 2 stalls are available, but it's at times where I know that's probably not...

Canadian Model S out-of-warranty costs, e.g. MCU replacement?

LOL.... I learned the word when the model 3 was debuted, with no binnacle. I figured as much.... I don't even care about no turn by turn, would just love that estimated battery %.

Canadian Model S out-of-warranty costs, e.g. MCU replacement?

My main screen seems ok, but for a couple months my binnacle screen is black sometimes when I get in the car. It works after a couple seconds, but I'm sure before it wasn't like that. Is this due to a firmware change? Or is this an mcu problem? I have a super old school 2014 model s60, no...

    Did you reserve the cyberTruck?

I was set on a Y, but truck has way more interior space, better seating space, waaaaaay more cargo space, can tow whatever I need it to, haul a variety of things in the bed, no paint to chip away, and way more badass. Oh, and same or more range for the same price? Sign me up. Only downside I...

What was the point of having a $100 usd deposit? I would guess 70-80% will not follow through.

Costco Wheel Sale - Will it work on Model 3?

You can get the replika r187 for about 150 cdn each, free shipping. Nicer rim than these imo, and they fit Tesla centre caps. I have a buddy who is using them for summers and his aeros for winters.

I assume if you're somewhere without wifi, you can hotspot your cell and make the car apps work that way?

Model 3 Standard Range (Canada) Range: 150km

I wouldn't count on an upgrade path at all. You gotta decide now, will you be satisfied if you can't realistically road trip in this car?
  46. hingisfan

Model 3 Standard Range (Canada) Range: 150km

If it's just for local use it's hard to argue the value at 45k less rebates.
  47. hingisfan

US importations to Canada now allowed ?

There's another thread on it..... After usd conversion and mods (that we don't know Tesla will even do) it's probably not worth the hassle.

Model 3 Standard Range (Canada) Range: 150km

I'm still road tripping with my S60, but I can't imagine even attempting a winter road trip with a 150km car.
