Hertz has 120k mile 2021-22 RWD listed for 17k… 165k miles should be what, $14k (crappy wild ass guess)? If you go above $9k plus $500-1k in repairs, you’re making $4k profit? Is that worth it for your shop?

Unless you really want a hatchback or the space, everything I’m seeing is new M3P all the way. Tax credit plus really good interest rate if you order by 6/30. Plus you get vented seats, better handling, brand new warranty, but no stalks or driver display.

They will disable supercharging however after an inspection which costs about $2k, they will reactivate it. All repairs would have to be done before then. It will still CCS charge if it had that upgrade .

That’s really all you can do. Unless they have transferable offers right now, ( at least they do for FSD), best you can do is buy back, rebuild, and get supercharging inspection to activate supercharging again. Or keep it as a parts donor.

Have you tried manually turning off tow mode? We’ve hauled maybe 150 lbs on a cargo carrier with an AP1 Model X and outside of some USS alerts Autopilot worked fine. Now when towing more than an empty utility trailer, it won’t let you turn off tow mode.

Looking at it while not on the side of the road, there’s a base for the 12th charger in place, right next to the bit of dirt on the asphalt. There is a hiring event in Lynchburg for Royal Farms this week, but nothing in the job descriptions about an opening date.

I count 11 stalls installed, 12th one is still on the pallet so maybe it’s going under the canopy!

I also have the broken mirror covers on my ‘14… Can we drop in the lighted visors or is there a way to replace just the mirror covers?

Service mode says they’re 2.0/2.5 and I can’t calibrate it via software. I’ve ordered a refresh kit since I think it’s just the paddle gear, and it’s still opening; just not presenting. I can even hear the motor running when in service mode it just tries over and over to present.

For my early S (2014 RWD) you can get to the cut loop connector by taking the cabin air filter box out the same way you would when disconnecting the battery. Which you should be doing anyway when working with HV, just to be safe. You can see the loop and connector in this video:

Has anyone had an interior temp sensor that might not be put in the right place? When heating it reads high, to the point that if temp is anything lower than HI, it won’t actually heat enough to defrost? Is it easy to get to to see if it is misplaced?

It was the battery terminal screw. It was super loose and intermittent; the battery bricked the day after I posted this; replaced with an OEM and all is OK.
