Fingers crossed that they start pumping out AWDs. Looking at Troy's spreadsheets, it definitely shows that they have not done much with AWDs yet (white or black seats).

Nope, no VIN yet, which is whey they felt it was possible to make the change and not impact delivery. But my initial order was only three weeks ago - July 13, 2018 (good Friday the 13th!), with no prior reservation or anything. At that time, they had just reduced the estimated delivery times...

Yep, same here, so we asked to change our AWD order to white seats. Since no EDIT button, they had to send in a request for the change. Waiting for it to be processed now. Hope it doesn't create delay... Suggested that it wouldn't since we have not been assigned a VIN yet.

Spoke to rep at Tesla's 888 customer service number, who told me that they are not going to re-enable my edit button, but will simply make the change to my order and update everything. She could not give me an estimate when that would occur, but said they will send me an email about the change...

Just ordered my M3 AWD today and when the system estimated 2-4 months for AWD, 1-3 months for RWD and for AWD Performance. Hope it's true to actual delivery. My Model X was pretty accurate to the time estimate (back two years ago).

Just opened my passenger side FWD inside my garage (limited space) and it too had a click that I had not heard before. I am starting to think that it is related to the close in opening of the doors (as mentioned by @tomtx37 noted. Definitely will have them look at that one too!

Didn't notice your picture before... I have matching pics! As you will see in the background, we had just stopped at a Tesla Supercharger to test the charging and look over some additional items (like opening and closing all the doors). Be sure to check both sides!

That's exactly what mine did! Which door? Mine was the driver's side. Pulled it up a good 3"-4" inches, and then was preventing it from closing until I bent it back down. So I started looking closer at the other side and it looks as though the trim around the back window sticks out a bit more...

UPDATE: The "Clicking" on the Falcon Wing ended up pulling the top piece of chrome trim up from the small back window!!! Perhaps the clicking was the wing hitting the chrome trim! When I tried to close the door, it would not close due to the bent chrome, so I had to bend it more to get the door...

Delivery day!!! Okay, so it came in a week later than expected, but it was still almost a week sooner than the MVPA, so happy camper... Folks at Tesla were AWESOME. Couple minor issues found (so far): 1) driver side wing makes loud click when opening, door shakes and doesn't always open fully...

What is your VIN? Mine is 166xx I have been tracking the Xs by VIN, and with the exception of distance, selected delays and 5 seat options, the VIN does appear to have some relevance. I'm betting you are in the 130xx-155xx range, probably the later ... a 140xx?
