    Changing wheels: TPMS, size,wight Qs

I've a black model X on order and went for the smaller 20" wheels (slipstream I think they're called). I'm not sure if they're bigger at the back or not. I want to change them to diamond cut wheels. Can anyone please help me with the following: 1) Are the current model X with 20" slipstreams...

A little disheartened by the competition

Good question. I've had reports from a mate with a Tesla and seen online that even when not in AP the Tesla stops/moves when it needs to. I'm not sure how true this all is because I assumed it would only be on the "lookout" when in AP but if it's always acting like big brother that sounds...

A little disheartened by the competition

Thanks for all your comments. I did a bit of research and found this lane assist on a Tigra on YouTube. It looks AWFUL. It basically ping pongs from line marking to line marking like a drunk driver and eventually just crosses the line cluelessly and dangerously. Sounds similar to the Audi...

A little disheartened by the competition

So I'm all excited about getting my Model X. Told a mate about it last night and he's got a flipping Vauxhall and he says "yeah mine does the assistive cruise control and the driver lane assist thing too".. A lowly Vauxhall Tigra? So other than the doors and big screen and speed what is it...

    Two Tesla chargers

Right yeah thanks my typo I meant to write halve not have . So yeah if only half current is used for two then surely they can both connect to a junction box and only one cable needs to go from that to only one RCD . It makes no sense to me that two parallel wires with two separate RCDs are...

    Two Tesla chargers

Ok great thanks guys. Yeah I couldn't find that in the first manual. I obviously missed it in the UK manual too but your quote makes sense thanks even if the logic doesn't make sense to me. Tesla checked with an installer who said they only use one RCD for both, which is confusing but it sounds...

    Two Tesla chargers

Hi ilI' likely need two Tesla chargers for my single phase property at some point but for now just want to put one in . Has anyone done this? Does the electrician send one wire from a junction box up to a single 32A RCD in the fuse box, and in the future two Tesla chargers can share the load...

Model X too wide for UK?

Thanks mate. Actually your point about summon is really good. I thought it'd be a good idea if a space was too tight but thought nah that would never work in practice so it's good I've gone for the summon option.

Model X too wide for UK?

Yeah thanks guys really good thoughts there, I don't think it will be an issue. It will be worth the extra interior space and safety for sure.

Model X too wide for UK?

Thanks mate. How much of a pain is it not making it through 66s? There are two in my town and I can get around both of them a different route, but I was driving around a weird unfamiliar place at the weekend and thsi 66 restriction came out of nowhere. Thankfully I was in a normal car and...

Model X too wide for UK?

I'm considering cancelling my Model X order, as I've read it's too wide for the UK. Test driving it seemed fine, but I'm concerned about parking it in supermarkets etc and also 6'6" restrictions I'll no longer be able to manage. I live near London but don't go in a lot. Anyone with a Model...
