    Heat battery while braking?

The issue here is that regen braking is disabled when the battery is low. No problem at all to have a heating element to dump the power so as to maintain regen braking AND warm the battery as a bonus.

    Heat battery while braking?

Why would it need to be a POINT of contact? My old waterbed used to have a heater. It never boiled.
  7. B

    Heat battery while braking?

    A resistive heating element. Simple.
  8. B

    Heat battery while braking?

In low temperatures 6 Kw would take at least 10 minutes to warm the battery up to a nice cosy temperature. ( SWAG*) Once that has happened the battery will be ready to take some more charge. *Scientific Wild Ass Guess

    Heat battery while braking?

That sounds very sensible. Musk wouldn't be interested.

    SpaceX Internet Satellite Network: Starlink

" And it's probably easier and cheaper in the long run to just dot the countryside with solar powered, Starlink backhauled cell towers than to equip all vehicles with starlink" How is that cheaper than simply having conventional 4G or 5G cell towers?

Some confusion here. There are TSBs out for front fore-links and for rear suspension control arms. There is some uncertainty about which model years are affected. Rear control arms https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10153421-9999.pdf Forelinks below
