Track mode appears on the screen, but it's grayed out when I'm in park. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...???

I picked up my P3D- on August 1st and track mode is disabled.

On Tesla's used cars listings, there is now an indication if a vehicle was in an accident and repaired. The used car sales advisor will provide a Carfax report on request, but it doesn't give a lot of detail about the extent of the damage. Any thoughts?
