For me, EAP has the functionality that I actually use most every drive. I don't use the extra features in full FSD. Maybe one day they will become useful, but they have not in the 4 years I have had FSD on my 2018 X.

I don't know where the sensors are, but my doors have acted up a 3 or 4 tines over the years. Doing the FWD reset from the X Resets thread has always cleared it up. You've probably already tried that.

I think you are seeing the normal Tesla narrowing of estimated delivery ranges. They use ranges instead of fixed dates. For example my range has updated from 8 weeks to 6 weeks and just now to down to 5 weeks. I suspect yours has progressed similarly. Looks like your range now is 3 weeks...

Cabin overheat protection can cause sounds like you describe. It is easy to turn off if it is on.

I would vote for creating a service request in the app. If you live in an area with mobile service, this will be easy. Tesla will come to you and replace the part.

I used Discount Tire to install 4 new Scorpion Zero A/S Plus on my 2018 X two months ago. They are quieter and have great road feel compared to the OEM Contis with 42k miles that were on the car. The rear tires had a bit more tread left, but replacing all 4 just seemed to make sense.

Yes, same idea. My "dead" X was suddenly back to life and it lasted until mobile Tesla service could come out and swap it. Its just nice to have responsive options when help is needed. Tesla does try, but having Tesla and AAA as options just seems like a no brainer for the price.
