Thank you for your reply. What is contact vs. touchless? I used to bring my car to hand wash, but it takes a lot of time since I need to wait there. That's why I thought of drive throughs but know they would induce scratches. What is rinseless? 20 min is not bad, maybe I can try that. Definitely...

Just to be sure, is it ok to do the auto drive through wash? I’m very busy and don’t have time to do hand wash all the time.

I'm debating if I should wrap my front with clear bra. I wonder if I need to wash my car differently after it? Or if there's noticeable difference between wrapping vs. not wrapping since I'm not doing full wrap. I plan to wrap the back bumper cuz my kids always put backpacks & stuff in the back...

Thank you for your reply. I agree with the protection part. The PPF is not really worth it. For me it's cuz I want to change color. I may consider vinyl and take the less protection for the less cost. But I don't know what is a good brand. I heard 3M would be $3750 for model 3.

Thinking about vinyl wrap to change color and was told protection would be very minimal. What kind of protection would it be? Was thinking about PPF but price tag of $6000 for base model 3 seem too high. Vinyl is around $2500. Any suggestion for brand? I'm in Pasadena, CA.

I have a red model 3 just like you. Torn between 3M crystalline or stratos. My friend with whilte model 3 said the bluish 3M won't look good. Do you think so? Maybe blue is not too bad on red model 3?

I was quoted $1100 at Pro Tints in Temple City. G5 was $1300 for Lumar Stratos or 3M Crystalline. Can't decide which one though... I have a red model 3.
