It looks to be a 165 mile trip. A good rule of thumb I read in this forum is add 20% and 20 miles. In this case it would be 165 + 33 + 20 = 218 miles of rated range consumption... if that is such a thing. This is a simple rule of thumb...to cover things like rain, head winds, & speeding. Now...

No, I want to register the car in AK and drive it back to AK... slowly. It really depends on the state, I've done it in WA and TN, and I know that that is a no go in many states....like CA and MA.

It's easy enough to cancel within your 7 day window and reorder if you want. You can cancel with your Tesla Owners Rep. when they contact you. I think you already know what you are going to do;)

I read on the forums that someone talked to George B. and he said NOT to rely on the dots on the maps to locate the Supercharger locations.

With one in Milford, CT and other in Wilmington, DE the 85kW will be able to make a run from Boston to DC easily. With 193 miles between Milford and Wilmington, it would be stretch for the 60kWh at normal highway speeds. Which begs the question were might the other supercharges go? NYC, NJ??
