Agree, I do not know if this could be prevented by any other manufacturer. I was not on AP, "emergency lane departure avoidance" was toggled "on". It was enough to keep the car in the lane.

Indeed! It happened fast.. I was like: Did I hear any scratching or crunching sounds, was there contact? Non of the others seem to react - may be the F150 driver sped up seeing my car's snake like movement, still keeping me in my lane.

NEMA 14-50 was installed with the ground pin at 3 clock. Electrician said its easier to zip tie the mobile connector to the horizontal conduit instead of dangling it. However, Tesla's installation instruction say the ground pin should be at the top position of the outlet. Will this be an issue?

Congrats! Have fun with the new car. You mentioned due bill for paint and panel gaps. Did you have to present/upload pics as proof? Are the panel gaps easy to fix?

Great to read your experience. Tesla gave me the same referral. I spoke to them, they quoted a higher price than the electrician I am going with.

They may come up with something in the next few days... Why compromise on a vehicle that you are paying ~50K and plan on keeping for many years? I would think, Tesla would make the price adjustment to account for the lower tax credit if delivered in July. I ordered white interior and changed it...

There seems to be unusually long delay on white interiors. Are you considering alternatives? AWD may be, Tesla may meet you half way along based on European RWD cancellations....

Garage and panel on either side of the house. Electrician quoted x for going through the attic and down to garage for one NEMA 14-50 install. For two NEMA 14-50 installs he quoted 2x - he would do a 100A breaker (+ subpanel in garage) and the material cost increase. Two to future proof, and...

Still waiting for my MVPA.... How long did it take between VIN showing/matching and getting the MVPA? I am in Houston. Rest of the docs are in order, now at "drafting your contract..."

Paperwork to get MVPA taking forever.... In TX, vehicle has to be fully paid to get shipped to TX. Teams are overwhelmed with the end of the quarter demand and rush. Go Tesla!

Europe was told they are not available anymore from the many posting... For US/Canada. Trying calling a East coast Tesla store (they are already open) and ask to order a LR RWD. Depending on your location, they may not guarantee a delivery by the end of the quarter.

VIN just popped up.... White/Black/Aeros, Houston delivery. 345XXX Its happening!

to add to SoManyM3s's point, The RWD with 19" wheels has comparable efficiency to 18" AWD as per Tesla Range Table - Teslike.com. AWD has slightly different drive and handling dynamics, and of course more power. But, LR RWD remains the efficiency leader. The options (color and wheels) match...

Spoke to delivery: the delivery appointment is a place holder only. No VIN yet. Delivery to be confirmed once vin is matched and paid in full for TX sale.

Just got a deliver appointment for next Monday but no VIN. White/Black/Aeros.

Ordered 6/3, White/black/aeros. No VIN. Yep! geography and transit times seems to be drivers for matching - makes sense. Advisor was positive, VIN will be matched on or before Wednesday, though not 100% sure.

Can you PM/provide the name and location of this advisor? He seemed more informed than others I spoke to.

Is the LR RWD available to order today in US? I will call as soon as they open the local store.

Awesome! Can you confirm the exact build date? I am not sure sales reps in Houston are aware that LR RWD with aeros are being built in June.
