Next in the saga, driver's side falcon wing door loses calibration (just calibrated again 2 days ago after the first time it wouldn't open). Service center tomorrow.

My service center escalated mine to engineering since it was the second encounter. They just told me that the buckle was likely faulty and they replaced it.

This was resolved with a seat calibration. But the restraint warning came back after a couple months. Power seat still works fine.

Came back for me and quickly disappeared. Car is at service center now getting this resolved along with the passenger side pinch weld popping sounds.

they use heavy duty clips, similar to the ones from ZL1, but bigger and beefier.

They don’t flap around. They’re quite dense and heavy. They will curve to the wheel well and sit nicely. I purposely did not want the molded wrap around the side style because those can scratch whatever surface they’re sitting on. Worth the money.

I swapped to the RallyArmor ones and like them way more. They’ll fit on a Plaid.

Just discovered that my left monopost second row seat doesn't work, anyone else have this issue? Seat can't go all the way back using the lower side controls. It will move forward 3 inches using that control, and then that control stops working all together. The upper back control works fine...

#18 had it replaced and it kept happening.

Anyone have this actually solved by Tesla? It showed up for me about 6 months ago, then went away for months. And came back recently. Last I heard it was a software issue.

It doesn't spin. It runs electricity through the stator inefficiently to make it generate heat without turning the motor. The same thing happens during supercharging preconditioning - the stator is being used less effectively to create waste heat - probably slightly off sync with the rotor.

It does pull down the window I believe. This was added in late 2019 when the model 3 came out. I think the message is something like “check the window seal for damage” or something.

Yes. On all cars with bioweapon mode, there are 2 filters - the big HEPA filter, and a smaller filter on the inside. With the Y, they just added the HEPA assembly at the air inlet, the dual cabin air filters are still there. The Refresh X and S are no different.
