Evening guys, I've noticed on the Tesla website that they have a service center in Norwich city centre as "coming soon". This would be perfect for me as the next nearest one in quite a trek! Just wondering if anyone is in the know and has a bit more information or if this "coming soon" means...

My current car i test drove 3 times before committing to it. I'm just skeptical of spending 50k on a car that I've driven for 20 minutes and in some awful conditions where I wasn't even able to drive at 60mph.

Tried adding someone older as a named driver? I know that can help. I'm 27 now and didn't learn to drive till 21 and mine were still high then when i brought a brand new Focus ST. You may have to look around and hope that you find that gem of an insurer.

Porsche have also said that there is a year to 2 year wait time due to demand currently from Jan 20. I imagine we will see a lot of new EVs in that time.

To be fair "usually" the only people that post reviews are the ones that have a bad time. Its why there is always some poor reviews on almost all products.

Just visited the trust pilot site after seeing your post and you're right, the reviews are pretty scathing! Few seem to be about the car and they all focus on how terrible Tesla are at customer service of late. I wonder if it will improve in the not too distant future.

Its nice to see some real world figures popping up, I'm strongly considering a M3P and my biggest concern is i have to do several 219 mile trips a month without a stop ideally. what kind of speeds were you doing to get the 230 range?

anyone have any idea if i could wrap the interior black plastic if i were to lease a car? or is this going to cause issues down the line? debating leasing a model 3 rather than pcp it.

Thats good to hear. I'm going to wait for the M3 rush to die down and place an order in the comings months. Hopefully some of the niggles with the cars will be sorted by then!

Thanks for the indepth post. Ideally i'd like to arrive with over 10% just so i could get myself to a local charger without having to panic too much. At this rate i may have to factor in a stop which would be a bit of a pain. I'm hoping the website is just overly cautious and in a real world...

Below is a picture of the settings i was using on that website. im hoping to make this work somehow as it seems an impressive car when i test drove it in the week.

I tried changing the settings around a bit but leaving my house at 100% charge i was getting to portsmouth with only 11% charge remaining which included a 4 min stop to top up. Seems crazy it uses that much charge for a 210 mile trip according to that website.

I am concerned about this, One of my requirements for the performance addition is to drive 210 miles in one sitting without stops, due to my job and the time i have to leave. even using the route planner linked above it doesn't look likely it will be able to do it without a stop.

so it reduces power once it hits 70mph? seems odd as thats when its needed to overcome wind drag etc. It does look crazy quick off the line. I have a test drive in the next couple weeks and i'm looking forward to giving it a go.

I haven't seen any videos of it being quicker but a couple reviews showing it slightly slower. I guess it depends on temp and road surface etc just wondered if anyone on here had any experience.

Evening Guys, I'm sure some lucky sods have received their model 3's now and im just wondering if anyone has tested (in an off road place of course ;) ) their cars 0-62, its stated as 3.2 seconds but whether thats achievable easily i dont know. Does the level of charge also affect this time...

a Leather cahmois makes me chringe, easiest way to rub swirls into your paintwork. Always use a woolen mit to wash with the 2 bucket rule and microfiber clothes to dry. They keep any small specs of dirt away from your paint.

From what i can see in his videos he recomends driving 190 km/h if you have access to the superchargers. Ideally i don't want to stop and hopefully would like the car to be able to do at least 210 at 70mph in without the need to stop. Stopping on the M25 for any amount of time can cause carnage...

Hey, Thanks! Glad to hear that, reassures me a bit. i usually sit at 70 as its mainly motorway driving. I'm not sure when these vehicles are at their most efficient, diesels seem to be around 55 but who wants to sit at 55 for 4 hours haha. Thanks Tyber
