Great feedback from everyone.
To clear a bit more on our approach - it was really to address the travelling needs while giving peace of mind to drivers including reservation system of the chargers. Pay as you go is also considered (although we didn't include that in the questions list). This is...
Hi Guys,
Missed out on the last meeting - hopefully can make it to the next one :)
For my MBA classes, I had chosen a project on Commercial DC chargers (50kW) and how we can make a viable business model from it. In trying to understand some of the concerns/needs from EV Owners, it would be...
This is awesome news.
The more CS-90 chargers in cities the better :D. I will for sure visit your location once it's up and running. My car and myself often need a re-charge

Ive decided not to buy a 4 YR plan as I dont expect much wear and tear in the first couple of years on pads and wipers. I asked the SC and they said even without annual service i get the 24/7 support so I'll probally just bring in the car after a couple of years when my pads needs changing.
I had a detailed conv with the factory guys on the service plans as the guys in Toronto service center were confused about it. The factory guys said that the service plans cover the replacement of wear and tear parts like brake pads, wind shield wiper etc. However, if anything else goes wrong...
Ok guys, just booked my slot for March 23rd Sat at 4pm to pick mine up from the suagga center.
Now only have one week to sell my car and get a charging station installed. Living in a condo has some disadvantages lol
Has any one else applied for the scotia bank financing? if so, how long did that take. TM said scotia approves in 30 day increments so i was waiting untill feb 28th which is one month from the end of my window so i can apply then.
so looks like Tesla is assigning VINs early on. I have a March 14-28 delivery window and just got my VIN 6751. I have std suspension too so maybe they are on schedule.
are you configured with 85Kwh or 60Kwh. Some people have received an email that the original delivery window was incorrect. However, I have an 85Kwh std susp and havn't received that email yet. Delivery window March 14-28.
Im assuming the warranty doesn't get void if you take the car to the track..??
I wanted to do that for the model S but dont we wear parts earlier (as compared to "daily" driving like the warranty says) ?
Were u 60KWh or 85KWh ? I guess they would follow similar sequencing to send out 85KWh with standard suspension and then move on to 60KWh with standard coil?
Regards,
RK
Sorry to hear that. I think in a case like this..Tesla should just add the air for free....i would think its better to give a few initial customers air and deliver car within the delivery window, than retracting statements about delivery dates. I have a standard coil as well in canada but havn't...
Just got my delivery button too. March 14th to March 28th delivery window. I had standard suspension so I guess they are hopefully on track to delivery those.
Now just the VIN to finalize insurance.. :D
Hi,
I've talked with this company "http://www.signatureelectric.ca/"
They had an article about installing a charging station in a condo building and the guy was really nice when I talked with him. His name is Mark M. You can get a quote from them. I will probably choose them to upgrade the...
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know if the Ontario EV Rebate has any known end date or whether there is a limit on the number of rebates that will be given? I saw no mention about it on the website so assumed guys in Ontario getting the car in march/april timeframe should be ok.
Regards,
Raza
The form is on the website but I had to right click the link and do a "save as" to save the pdf on my local HD. I was able to see it then...for some reason it didnt open from the browser.

Hey Guys,
I was waiting to sign my pre-MVPA after finalizing as I had asked a few questions to Tesla? Should I wait for them to reply back or sign the papers...
Questions were about car trade in, loan applying and approval i.e. what if I dont get approved afterwards, when do I have to apply...
That was the exact thought process I went through. Started with 40KWh in mind when reserved and switched to 60KWh sometime in the middle to add a level of safe zone. Now SC and other factors came in. What if I need more range and over EOL range. Then the value of $/KWh and $/km is lowest for...
I had the same pause at this point lol. Im also asking about my trade in option which wasn't on the papers yet so still havn't electronically signed them...
Thanks for the reply Doug.
Do you know what process they followed for trade? when was the car inspected? what was the price they gave you w.r.t auto trader selling prices? I was looking sumthing for my 04 infinity coupe.
Also, being in Ottawa, how was the Ontario rebate processed? I rmr seeing...
Hey Guys,
Had a few questions on my paperwork. I want to trade-in my car but the paperwork already says "No Trade" and calculated all the taxes and stuff..
Also, there was no mention of the service plan? would that be available later on?
Regards,
Raza
Finalized just now!.
P297, 85KWh, Pearl White, Black Roof, Black leather interior, Sound, Twin
Now the part where i live in a condo and dont have a charging station lol ... need to work on that issue...
I agree that a month or two up or down doesn't really make a huge difference when we are talking about owning the car for many years to come. Im more concerned about getting a charging solution at the condo i'm renting in Burlington and at my work there.
so untill then P297 will have to wait :)
I had a chat with them..
They are offering 6.99% interest rate on a 48 month lease. Residual value of 40%,35%,30% for allowances of 16k,20k,25k respectively.

Hey Guys,
I went down to the Tesla Toronto Store the other day and was told that Tesla got approved for financing through scotia bank at 3.99% for upto 8 years. Has any one else heard about this yet or have more details on this? I was thinking of getting a personal line of credit but maybe I...
