So I can’t use the tethered cable attached to the Polar charger? Sorry to be so naive!

probably a daft question but can we charge from an “ordinary” Type 2 charger like Polar and Ecotricity. NOT the CCS connector but usual Type 2? Thanks

I am a complete novice on electrics so forgive my naivety - The bit that "trips" is the RCD main fuse in the main fuse board for the house. I am not sure what a "MCB2 is?

Thanks for the responses - went to another site today, plugged in to the CCS connector and immediate charging. Quick and easy - phew! Just a little disappointed though that we cannot access normal Tesla connectors as there are far more pf those than ours at present

Totally agree. Unless you are guaranteed multiple days of sub-zero and ice, then changing is not worth it IMHO. Would always recommend premium tyres
