Mobile charging silly question?

probably a daft question but can we charge from an “ordinary” Type 2 charger like Polar and Ecotricity. NOT the CCS connector but usual Type 2?

Seriously, check that its been supplied and how long it is. Its the blue 'Mennekes' one but may come in a variety of lengths which will dictate how you need to park.

Its a standard type 2 so will work with other standard type 2 'chargers' like Polar and Ecotricity. Charge rates will vary.

Yes you can use the tethered cable. Or your own into an untethered.

just be aware it’s considered bad form if you slow charge on a rapid where you could be charging faster.

For example, charging on type 2 cable on a rapid because it gives you a few more hours before you need to disconnect is very frowned upon. Always uses the fastest you can.

Mind you, with the Ecotricity chargers failing CCS more often than not, you’re more likely going to be using Type 2. That’s certainly my experience.
