check service mode and see after the calibration what the pitch is. Service Manual says in Service Mode to reset forward facing calibration and reset DAS. I did that, drove and it came back with pitch issue still.. -1.7. Not sure what the tolerances are and the green lines don't matter...

one year later and my camera pitch went out again.. it's at 1.7 (Model S Plaid 2023 HW4). Have an appt scheduled. Very odd that the camera shifts.

Update.. out of the blue today camera pitch error. Service mode shows it green and inbetween the lines. Reset camera calibration twice..

I sit 45 mins from home waiting on AAA because telsa cant get to it until the morning.. same situation. 15,329 miles and even wear but full separation. This seems to be a tire failure for sure. 21” on MS plaid 2023

March HW4 Model S Plaid here.. and I get the lower speed vibration in the pedals (28-40) most noticeable in the morning. Extremely smooth road. I will pay more attention to the over 40 and if it happens after a few miles of driving but from memory, I feel like it goes away after it's warmed up??

invoice says nothing of the sort. The service mgr told me the coax routing was wrong or pinched causing pressure/tension on the coax moving the camera out of pitch.. this was after replacing the camera assembly/cameras twice over two 2 week stints in the service center.

Now that Model Y is shipping with HW4, I am hoping all the bugs get worked out ASAP.. I feel like MS/X were the alpha testers for HW4.. Hope your problem gets resolved, I would have them check the camera coax routing to see if it's right and not putting pressure on the camera pushing it out...

this is funny.. I noticed this bug this week... I noticed it wouldn't set temp to 69 degrees.. and tried a few others, didn't notice the pattern of even temps only.. I'm on 2023.12.9 (2023 HW4 Model S Plaid).

Update: 2 full weeks in.. They found that the coax front camera cable was routed wrong and pushing camera out of pitch. Solved that problem and it calibrated. Picked up the car, get in interstate and the minute autopilot engaged it pulled the car to the right of the lane, nearly on the line...

Yeah. I’m highly considering a buyback request and tracking the details for lemon law.. very close to meeting requirements. My 2019 M3P was flawless. Really miss it and love Tesla. If I did a buyback, I will go back to a gas car as any other EV just doesn’t compare.

Well. Not sure I can believe this. Another front facing camera replacement all in 37 days and 15 days in the shop. Tesla has literally put half the miles on this car trying to get it to calibrate! Now not expected to be done until the 15th!

My 2023 S plaid, the ambient light toggle does absolutely nothing. Was in the car the other night checking and in pitch black garage.. I wonder if my lights are non functioning? Footwell is very dark. What lights are supposed to go on/off with this toggle?

This is the way... I played around with that and yes, set to high is where is sounds like a decent system. Auto the smaller speakers don't have audio or it's so low you can't tell..

I can’t confirm.. but I just took delivery last Thursday and they had a hold for “sensors”. They would not tell me what or why but delayed me taking delivery for a day.

FYI. The HW4 cars that have the new phoenix radar are getting “rework” to unplug and cap the new radar before delivery. If you have access to the service manuals it’s in the last week of march updates.

Thx, I've read a ton of posts here and I believe it to be the "scum" clear coat overspray. I've done the razor method in one area and certainly cleaned some of it up. Ordered glass polish to get it all off. Standard water spot / eraser / vinegar tricks do not work at all.

Grrr so I got a call today. No pickup as the car was shipped missing a sensor. Oddly enough another car identical they had in inventory (that was shipped with my car) also is missing same sensor. Advisor said they shipped without and put holds until the sensor is delivered and installed...

Scheduled pickup for my Plaid for tomorrow morning.. and whew, they have called me twice today about my delivery day to ensure that I know that there are features that will not be working for a few weeks.. (their words, "in the coming weeks"). I had to accept it in the app a week or two ago too.
