There was an update and now when I try to start Spotify in my MS there is a QR code on the screen. When I scan the QR code on my phone it opens Spotify on my phone. Trying to figure out how to log in to Spotify in my car. It no longer asks for user name and password, which would have been easy.

Akikiki, I sure remember. You were so kind to come down and photograph that special day.. We were the pioneers. I never got the 40 badging, and I asked them not to put the 60 badge on when I upgraded.

Sorry if this has already been covered - did a search and did not see one specific to Hawaii. We got into a fender bender with the Model 3. Front bumper and left headlight damaged. This will be covered by insurance, looking for recommendations for a reputable Tesla approved body shop. Thanks.

When you say Hawaii are you referring to the State of Hawaii or the Big Island? If you are referring to the State of Hawaii it is difficult to generalize like that. The availability of services is much different in Honolulu than it is in Kona, where the OP is posting about.

Ah yes, the good old days. I also took delivery in June, 2013. This forum was an indispensable resource. We were all in unknown territory, having wired a large sum of dinero to some new company for a car we have never even seen in person.

I have a early 2013 Model S. Today I noticed my screen looks exactly like the picture above. Plus some sappy goo is dripping from the bottom of the screen. Contacting service today. Guess I'd better order another screen protector for when they replace the screen.

That looks like a software limited 40 that was upgraded to a 60. I did that and asked them not to put the 60 badge on. The 40's did not come with a badge. You can tell it is a 60 because the screen will display the current configuration.

I don’t know if my S is on a different plan, but tire rotation and alignment have always been included with the cost of the annual service.

Never had this happen in 5 years of ownership. But this week it happened twice and after a while it self corrects.

I second or third or fourth all the above sentiments. Have been consistently pleased and impressed with the Honolulu service center attitude and attention to detail since June, 2013.

For general knowledge, if you purchased the additional 4 year "Anywhere plan" (no longer available, includes Ranger service) - I confirmed with Tesla that Roadside Assistance is included with this plan. I checked before committing to a AAA policy for roadside emergencies.

Yikes, good to know! I bought the additional 4 year “anywhere” service plan that included free ranger service and assumed it included roadside assistance. I better look into buying some AAA coverage for towing.

I thought we all had roadside Tesla service. Is it because you didn’t buy the extended warranty?

Charging up both cars to 90% just in case... Don’t need a battery backup for my phone with a Tesla in the garage!

Thanks for reminding me. Another sidebar - I have an extra “the law” mounting bracket for my Model S still in the box if anyone is interested.

They gave me the option as well. When they do install it they are using adhesive and are not drilling holes.

The costs I noted above includes registration and General Excise Tax.

For that configuration about 3500 down and 50300 at closing. May vary depending on your paint, does not include AP, and still need to buy extended warranty and prepaid service when available.

I am glad it doesn’t keep the car unlocked. But we shouldn’t have to resort to using it in the first place. It should be be a unusual emergency measure instead of a 3 times a week requirement.

This is the problem we are having. My wife forgets the card in the car because her phone would get her in the car but not start it. Then she is locked out the next time her phone doesn’t open the car. Of course she can reset her phone, etc. but she shouldn’t have to. This needs to be fixed...

Still haven't heard from anyone from Tesla. Order confirmed 03/11/18, VIN received 04/11/18. Sure would like to know when to expect delivery.

We ordered white. I called and they said someone will be contacting me. According to the person I spoke to, you receive the VIN towards the end of production. Hopefully it will be here soon!

Gave up and got black. Tan or cream would have been ideal, but prefer black to white. Would have waited if tan or crime was on the radar.
