I picked this up at Tesla SC without any problems. Install (w/bundle of wires from 2muchsun) yesterday and now my 2018 model 3 has CCS enabled. Waiting for Tesla shop to recognize this before ordering CCS adaptor.

I’m considering getting this display, but my main concern is blocking A/C airflow. What’s your experience with this?

Yeah I never saw the bump in range, but by that time my battery had probably lost some capacity to age (June ‘18 build) and use. I always use the battery % so don’t really pay attention to stated range.

I have the 2018 RWD LR and the advertised range was 310 miles. That was before they had several firmware releases that improved efficiency. Would be interesting to see what the range would be with the latest battery today.

What's the charge speed (kW) on the Y with the adapter? Can you get to 250kW? I have a Chademo adapter, and a 2018 model 3, so I'm curious if it's worth the upgrade (when available)

Yes, hardwire requires permit, plugging in doesn’t.

I used this to charge on Wednesday night driving from the Bay Area to LA. It started charging at about 120kw, so not really a normal urban charger. I also chatted with the Tesla Energy employees while charging. You don’t need to be on the truck bed to unhook the cable, just lift by the cable.
