Excuse me if I missed your point but...I think Tesla Insurance is only available in California (I never had said button) and since it doesn't look like California has started getting VINs yet...might explain why you're having trouble getting that answer.

Short answer is email. Note: There is a "Communications Preferences" field on your Tesla Account > Account page for your preferred contact type and time. Do the fine folks at Tesla actually follow these settings? Maybe, they have in my very limited experience.

For example, my Model 3 Performance (VIN 602914) has a scheduled ETA in New Jersey of 12/18/2019. I'm guessing its assembly was probably just completed within the last couple of days...maybe is still in final assembly? So, like they said, I wouldn't be concerned about that part of the VIN. Now...

In the email my Operations Advisor (Cherry Hill, NJ) sent me earlier today he included "The charge bundle included with your Tesla includes a 20-foot cable, a 110 adapter, and a J1772 universal charging adapter."

That does seem reasonable. Also, I think that would make more people consider WHAT sound to select rather than whether to disable the sound. Given that and Tesla's/Elon Musk's history, I eagerly await what reference to Spaceballs is among the choices.

I picked up this VIN decoder a couple of weeks back. Might help relieve some 8th digit fears.

This installation cost me about $900 (not including the cost of the Wall Connector). 60 amp circuit breaker with a short cable run (about 13 feet). New Jersey is probably on the more expensive end of the cost spectrum though. Tesla Wall Connector And Conduit 2 by elperrofumando posted Nov 30...

I wouldn't consider it a problem, unless you continue to check after taking delivery. :)

Here's my personal account, for what it's worth... My SA actually emailed me asking if I had a referral code I'd like to use. This was post order and pre-VIN (my current status). Now whether I actually get the 1,000 miles is an entirely different matter but, this was an unsolicited inquiry so...

Me too...at least I have a few stocking stuffers to distract me for a bit...just received my Wall Connector and a couple of other accessories today. It's not a car but, at least, it's something. Half-hearted yea!

Ordered 10/12/2019...Model 3, Performance, Midnight Silver, Black Interior, Full Self-Driving...and yes, I was probably "low balling" the actually number of times I'm checking my Tesla account.

Thanks for both the info and reassurance, Tholland. I ordered the on 10/12/2019 and am eagerly awaiting news. I'll just take a seat over here and try not check my Tesla account more than five times a day. :-)
