Inspect the car before the delivery appointment?

Can I show up early to my delivery appointment and find the car in the lot myself (verify via VIN) and inspect at least the exterior (without talking to anyone)? I figured that would be more comfortable since apparently they get an attitude about you wanting to inspect the car prior to buying it. But I don't know if the cars are in some locked portion of the lot or enclosed in a building or whatever. This is the Littleton CO location.

Throughout both deliveries I've done I never had any problems with anyone when I inspected the car thoroughly. That being said, the cars that were ready for delivery were all parked inside the building at my location, and no one stopped us from walking in and looking at all the cars. If someone tries to stop you just tell them you're taking delivery today and it should be fine. Could be a different story where you live though.

If the staging area is small they likely won’t have your car in a viewable area until right before your appointment. And with no window stickers on the vehicles you may be guessing at best which one is yours.

I say, if you want to...do it. What's the worse that could happen? Someone says, "Excuse me...you'll need to wait over there." Right? Who's gonna call the cops for someone wanting to look at the car they're about to buy?
