We have been mostly hand washing our Y using car wash soap and get the same oil-slick look on the black trim. A lot of it has wiped off with a clean, dry rag. The rest took a bit of WD40 on the rag, or an auto cleaning wipe seems to work.

Check to see if the door panel is rubbing against the fender panel while opening. We have one door on our MY that is slightly out of line and it rubs a bit while opening, sometimes creating a creaking sound.

We had the same leak in a new Y - water under pressure (hose or touchless wash) getting in at the top center of hatch. Service just adjusted the hatch to close more tightly at the top and problem solved. Apparently there's some play if the hinge bolts are loosened.
