The service manager told me over the phone saying the car is drive-able and navigation is fine, it just shift happens time to time, and it happens to other people car a lot too. I said, it happens basically everyday now, it is not time to time, he replied, fine, ok, then changed the subject...

Unfortunately, in Canada, we do not have lemons law. Now, I am basically begging for regional manager to contact me and discuss if she can enforce the preparing process or refund the car... Folk in Canada, if you would be unlucky like me (Knock on the wood), it would NOT be easy to be in control...

No... they want to keep tracking after the fix, to gather more local route information (GPS related info tho) Because I said no to them, thus they keep the car for 6 days, to allow the technician to do the road test instead of me driving to test. I think it is a fair play. I agree GPS tracking...

Yes, they did a 6 days extensive test on the car, reproduced the issue multiple times. "Engineering has this issue under investigation. are they ok to turn ok GPS tracking on your vehicle after your car is released? It would help with finding the route case" I am ok with what they need to do...

They had already reproduced the issue, and the service asked me to give permission to continuously track my GPS after the car is fixed and released to me from the shop. Thats why I said no.

Update on Dec 15. (note: I picked up the delivery of the car on Nov 27.) After first fixing visit during Nov 29th to Dec 4th (6 days fixing) And the second fixing during Dec 9th to Dec 14th ( another 6 days fixing), The technician and their engineers said there is a antenna hardware issue which...

Oh I forget to mention that during the highway autopilot barking incident, there is a voice prompt happens at the same time as the brake, car asked me to merge into highway or something, clearly the car thought I was not on highway, but some local roads near the highway with 60kmh speed limit...
