I also live in Dallas and travel to Austin frequently. I am still tossing around the idea of Plaid vs. LR, but I'm trying to convince myself that a Plaid with the 19s and driven at the speed limit will return the same efficiency as a LR. Anyone have evidence that this would not be the case?

Model 3 has had a wood interior since its debut. Wood is no longer a "sustainable choice". See: new BMW interiors, etc.

Yeah when you're in Park, a mini version of your car pops up on the center screen, where you have access to the expected lock/open trunk/frunk functions. I only saw because I took an S on a test drive. :)

Did you by chance notice if the Plano delivery center was prepping/delivering cars without the front plate mount? I've picked up two Teslas there, both without the plate mount attached, but I consider myself lucky because you never know when they'll change their minds.

If you do that, does the animation actually show 'off'? In the new Model 3, pressing/holding brings up a text indicator "Hold to stop air" or something. Press the text again, and the vents turn back on. Also, if anyone wouldn't mind testing this... you'd have to be sitting in the passenger...

Test drove a new Model S today. One of my wife's biggest complaints in my '23 Model 3... no ability to turn off the vents for the front seat passenger. Apparently no amount of 'vent redirection' is satisfactory for her. I tried this in the new Model S by pressing/holding the air stream...

I think they compile a set of demos to get them ready for end of quarter sales. For example in Dallas, there are no Model S demo drives available until July 3rd and it's been like this for weeks. I think Tesla grabs them all to prepare to get rid of them soon.

Does it actually say 16GB? For some reason, I thought the HW4 cars went down to 8GB of memory. Maybe that's only on the HW4 Model 3/Y and the extra memory is needed for the three screens in the S/X.

Hey @Trunk Gap can you take a look in your Software/Additional Vehicle info screen and tell us what the modem type is? Still 2G/3G/4G?

I assumed it would be related to this. But it still seems like if it's really a geometry issue, it will still happen (eventually) on the 19", just would be visible sooner on the 21s. But as @terranx mentions, the tire compound of the 21" being different probably exacerbates the situation.

Why does it only impact the 21" wheels/tire? Outer diameter with the 19" is the same as the 21" set up.
