Ahh Tesla Service...Well, it’s come to this

Believe me when I say I get your point. Where we disagree, is whether it’s ok to have ubiquitous production defects and apathetic service on a car that costs over 100k, no matter what the price comparison to other brands may be. Perhaps this price point is a discount for some, but it still...

Ahh Tesla Service...Well, it’s come to this

My new 2020 MS performance has still not had autopilot fixed, and the additional issues I’ve had, per the SC, are all “within specs”, including a large exposed metal bracket in my trunk that clearly should be covered by the trunk lining- it’s pure cosmetics but on principle a 100k car should...

    Deceleration noise

Thanks so much. I’ve added it to my repair grocery list.

    Deceleration noise

Follow up on my last post, new 2020 performance S,19s that had frunk detector malfunction at time of delivery along with a few other probs. Still waiting for my SC appointment later this month. Amongst 4 other downstream errors that have accumulated since I scheduled 5 weeks ago, I am starting...

Any experience with the new Tesla home ev charger?

Thanks so much for the responses!

Wow...Tesla service really is that bad....

To those who have experienced the laughably dismal Tesla service, you have plenty of company. After leasing a MS, and after a whole lotta deliberation about liking the car vs enduring delays and utter lack of customer centered service, I decided to get a new MS performance. The car ‘passed’...

Any experience with the new Tesla home ev charger?

Not opposed to the Tesla charger at all, quality and durability are my main priorities, don’t mind having to deal with the adapter. Have you heard about any problems with the Tesla charger?

Any experience with the new Tesla home ev charger?

Hi, I’ve reviewed past posts from 2019 about home chargers recs, wondering if anyone has experience with the 2020 Tesla charger (with the added superfluous WiFi)? I will be feeding directly off the box in my garage, have a performance S, and am debating between Tesla vs JuiceBox vs ChargePoint...

    Quick question about tires

Duh, don’t I feel stupid now. Thanks Geoff, good call.

    Quick question about tires

Yes, no question tesla repair centers won’t hook you up with a replacement for an after market 20” tire, but can the actual roadside service bring a 20 to put on your care, since tesla model s options from tesla are 19 or 21?

    Quick question about tires

Also, am I the only one wondering why tesla doesn’t just put some 20s on their model S?

    Quick question about tires

No doubt this has been asked and answered, so apologies in advance. I have a dechromed blacked out performance S, and after a painful amount of time deciding on tired went the the 19” carbons (tesla stock). Wanted 21s for the cool factor but can’t afford flats during my work day. Question is...

    Model S, decisions, decisions.

Black on black, with 21s. I’m debating about getting a satin black wrap... saw one the other day and it’s gorgeous

Just got a 2020 Performance model S. The moonroof is really nice, won’t miss the sunroof. The adaptive suspension makes a huge difference, really impressed on the test drive. Have a great weekend.

    Model S, decisions, decisions.

Hi, First time poster here. I have a 2017 P100D maxed out options at the time, and lease will be maturing soon. Debating between buying it out, or buying (no loan or lease) a new performance MS. Prices are within 10%, new car being more. ~ 25K miles. On the surface seems like a sunroof and batt...
