Get the LR. I have the Plaid but it's not worth that much more than the LR. You have to remember it's a giant heavy car. The extra power isn't as fun IMO as it would be in the Model S.

How is this "confirmed" exactly? The problem is that it will work for quite a while sometimes before it stops again. Are you confirming because you just got it replaced and it works?

This is false. Richard has a Model S which has the "toggle to use low as default." This setting does not exist on Model X. Again, low is the default mode on Model X.

When in low it does not raise back up, except in the case you have suspension set to comfort or auto mode and it detects you are on an unpaved road.

I have a new plaid that already has the red calipers and (I'm assuming) brake pads. I do believe they are high performance pads because they make more noise than normal pads and also leave wear streaks on the front rotors.

For what it's worth mine only touches the door itself when I move the captain's chair all the way forward. However the passenger side has plenty of room. I wonder if all the driver's side captain's chairs have this issue?

It's a new X. Oh it knows if someone isn't buckled in in the third row alright. It just isn't using that information to turn on the HVAC back there.

Thanks for the reply. So the only sensors in the car are in the captains chairs, and if the car seat/child doesn't set it off then you're screwed. Interesting there are no sensors in the third row to activate the HVAC.

6 seater with two child seats in the captains chairs. It doesn't matter if kids in the seats or adults back in the third row -- the rear climate just never seems to turn on by itself. Am I missing something?
