I’m trading in my Model Y to Tesla this coming weekend for a new Model S and they have offered the highest price. And when I factor in tax savings in my state by trading in to the “dealer” it becomes even better. Tesla also offered the highest a few years when I traded in a Model 3.

Yeah, typically is which is why I'm confused. I can't get a straight answer from Tesla about when it'll be there.

Got the text today to schedule delivery and I scheduled for Saturday, the 23rd. Ordered 3/6, VIN 3/9. LR, SG, black interior, 19". Still waiting for MVPA from Tesla, which I need to finalize financing with my bank. I've been asking them for days to send it and they haven't. I'll keep hounding them.

That's how I'm feeling as well. If a retrofit ever becomes available I'll consider it but sounds like it's a whole new bumper so I'd have to also include the cost of new PPF.

The thing to remember is that we never hear about vehicles that don't have these issues. As with most things in general, the people who have issues are much louder than those who don't.

What's an "RF vin"? "R" for 2024 and "F" for Fremont?

I think I've fallen in love enough with the idea of the Model S as-is that I'll take or leave the rumored updates.

Ordered 3/6 and I just got a VIN assigned with EDD 3/20-3/29. I'm waiting for the rumored updates... hard to know if this VIN has it.

That pretty much matches my quotes exactly. XPEL PPF and ceramic tint. My installer said that XPEL doesn't have the patterns available yet for 2024 Model S (which I confirmed on XPEL's website) -- I told them I don't think anything has changed compared to 2023.

Are you still receiving these alerts? My car started alerting me to these a few weeks ago and service wants me to come in and follow the same process you described. It’s a hassle for me to get to the service center and don’t want to waste my time if it’s just going to be a firmware update.

There is ZERO indication at this point that this will make FSD beta available to HW4 vehicles, which is what I presume you meant by "your new Y"

Mine randomly started working today. I’m not sure if it is correlated to 2023.12.10 (FSD beta update) or not. I received that update a few days ago so not sure why Park Assist would all of a sudden start working now. Took delivery early May, been without Park Assist since.

None. Even with last night's update to 2023.12.10 (FSD beta 11.3.6).

Hopefully it isn't a long wait until FSD beta is on 2023.12.X

I'm encountering the same. Picked up a new Model Y last week and it came with 2023.12.1.1... haven't see the park assist lines or distance estimations once.

I’m taking delivery of a Fremont-built Model Y LR AWD in a week or two and my SA says it will have the Matrix headlights. Not sure if I believe them but it would be a nice surprise. Also said it comes with the cargo cover, front mud flaps, and the rear fender PPF.

He uses the right scroll wheel. Must be annoying to do that compared to just keeping your hands on the wheel like you’re supposed to.

That's true of all lane changes it makes. In general, it needs to be more proactive about changing lanes to follow the route. It seems hard-coded to wait until the last 1/2 mile to make the change, when it should do it within a mile or two when there is room while also considering traffic speed...

I'm still on 10.69.25.2 and have the Intel Atom processor, but I've always noticed it being pretty variable. Most of the time it comes up instantaneously but other times it is extremely slow.

Glad to have a V3 station right off I-80, compared to the trek into Davenport to the V2... always has been a pain to get in/out. Having this in addition to the one down I-80 in Walcott is nice. A short walk next door to the Kwik Trip.

FSD beta 11.3.1 is starting to roll out internally and contains fixes to address the recall.
