    Uberturbines w/ P Zeros and TPMS installed -- Maryland -- 3700 miles

Yes, willing to consider if you're willing to pay the shipping cost. Just sent you a PM.

    Uberturbines w/ P Zeros and TPMS installed -- Maryland -- 3700 miles

For now, I'm holding out for a buyer for all 4, and hopefully not shipping though if someone is interested in paying the cost I'd consider investigating it.

    TPMS sensors

FWIW, I got new wheels and put in a service request for the TPMS through mobile service, and the SC quickly replied that they have them in stock and to just swing by and pickup at my convenience. I did that and had no delay (this was last week, Owings Mills MD SC) so they do exist and you can...

    Uberturbines w/ P Zeros and TPMS installed -- Maryland -- 3700 miles

For sale -- 21" Model Y Uberturbine Wheels with OEM Pirelli P Zeros mounted. ~3700 miles on the tires, so should have 10-15K left. I've already replaced these with new TSportline wheels, so they are taking up space in my garage, and ready for you to pick up. Full disclosure, the two rear...

What did you do with the Uberturbines for winter?

As an update, to keep this going, I bit the bullet and ordered the TSportline 20" TSS wheels (taking advanted of their sale to get $300 off) in Space Gray, and also ordered Michelin A/S 3+ from Tire Rack (and the TPMS sensor from Tesla through mobile service), should be getting the wheels and...

What did you do with the Uberturbines for winter?

Look nice -- I'm also in Maryland and really torn about what to do for the winter. I had originally thought that by now there would be all seasons available for the uberturbine and I'd just replace the pirelli's with some but now that appears it won't be an option at least this winter (unless...

AC Blowing Warm From Day We Picked Up Our New Y

There were serious issues with A/C in earlier threads with early production models, including mine, which took a lot of work to get fixed, not sure if it's all been worked out in newer vehicles but I would certainly hope so. So if they don't fix it the first time, stay on them at the service...

Y with 21 inch 7k miles and rear tires almost worn out?

I am definitely waiting for the Pilot Sport A/S 4's to come to 255/35/21, as noted earlier they are available in canada and we have them already in 275/35/21 so hopefully it will be available soon. As someone in a mid-latitude where we only get snow a few times a year but have plenty of time...

    3rd A/C failure

So I've posted on here a number of times, and I will say that thus far my fix seems to be working (knock on wood), as I've had the car back for almost 2 weeks and thus far my AC works (though I admit my driving is much less than normal as I'm still working from home). Fingers crossed. I posted...

    3rd A/C failure

Okay -- mine is finally done and ready for pickup. Here is the part repair description for others in case helpful (no promise yet that everything is fixed, of course, only time will tell):

    3rd A/C failure

Well, I was also told something about a possible leak somewhere and I fully agree with your logic. BUT I was also told supermanifold, like you. They allegedly now have all my parts in though my car remains in service since Wednesday 7/22, so I Have a feeling you and I are in the exact same...

Waze, Model Y and Cell phone holder

I don't own this but I've seen it on Youtube, looks cool I've thought about buying it and if I really wanted to regularly use Waze I would, but I haven't been doing so, just using the built in Navi thus far...

Question about stereo system in Model Y

I think the sound in my Y is at least as good as, and in fact probably better than, the harmon kardon upgraded sound in my traded in X3 (which I thought was better than the Bose sound of my Audi A6 before that, which I thought was better than the Bose sound of my Infiniti G37 before that), but...

    Rejected Y's

I strongly suspect that we on this forum overestimate the number of rejected cars -- the people who are going to look for reasons to reject a delivery are the ones who would be active on this forum and have a much louder voice. I'm not saying the issues we discuss aren't real (see my A/C not...

    3rd A/C failure

Thanks for the update, helpful info. My car remains in service (I also have an S loaner, though it's an 85D locked in chill mode, do they always do that?) and apparently they are expecting the final missing parts this week, i'm hopeful that the repairs mirror yours as I saw those washers in...

    AC Problem

Known issue at this point that several of us have had (mine is currently in the shop for the same issue) -- when the A/C works it works fine (i've measured it blowing 42 degree air with an 80+ outside temp), but it decides not to cool intermittently -- my Y remains in service since last...

Vendor First Model Y Dyno Test!

I'm not saying there is 15% loss in the Y, my point is trying to get apples to apples on the power of an equivalent ICE -- i.e. the power on the Y is essentially 10-15% more than equivalent 503 bhp X3M Comp which would not have 503 horespower at the wheels on a dyno due to the loss. 0-60 times...
  18. S

    3rd A/C failure

I'm curious to hear how the fixes have gone for others. My Y remains at service (since last Wednesday, so day 8 and counting), apparently more parts have been ordered, they now offered me a loaner if I want one. The app says it should be done end of day tomorrow though it used to say end of...

Vendor First Model Y Dyno Test!

So if I have this right, we're looking at 500 "wheel horsepower" which would translate to an equivalent "bhp" of approximately 588 if we were trying to get apples to apples to an ICE (assuming 15% parasitic loss between the bhp or crank horespower that manufacturers quote and wheel horsepower)...

    3rd A/C failure

The service advisor just texted that parts are due in today. I asked which and was told “a refrigerant part and a supermanifold”. Not sure exactly what that means but hopefully this does the trick.
  21. S

    3rd A/C failure

Update from me, as a reminder, car has been in service since Wednesday, status update now says that they are awaiting part, scheduled for completion this Wednesday (the 29th) at 5:15 PM.....no idea what part they've ordered....
  22. S

    3rd A/C failure

So 48 hours and counting, my Y is still at the Service Center -- I guess I'm optimistic that they're taking the issue seriously, though not exactly confidence inspiring that we're on day 3 of having it in service and the service advisor just texted me saying they were waiting for an update from...
  23. S

    3rd A/C failure

Well....they are keeping the car overnight as they are checking for what they think is a very small leak somewhere with the refrigerant. I'm highly skeptical that is the issue, although they did say the previous two times I brought it in that the refrigerant was lower than normal, which was...
  24. S

    3rd A/C failure

Well, I'm at the service center right now, been here for 2.5 hours and counting. The A/C was working this morning (of course), which I told them when I brought it in (I actually think it gave me credibility to acknowledge it was cooling). I did use an insta-read thermometer to confirm with...
  25. S

    3rd A/C failure

So JustBeChillin how has your A/C repair worked out? I've been having very similar A/C issues with my Y to what you describe. I've taken it in twice, and both times they said the refrigerant was low (the second time I was pretty incredulous and asked whether they'd checked for a leak, they said...

Deep Blue Metallic Model Y Picture Thread

I got it done here—they are in Crofton (for you it would be probably about 30-45 minutes) — I highly recommend them they did a great job and pricing was relatively reasonable (about $1000 for Mohs+ which comes with a lifetime warranty, to the extent that means anything, but it looks great and...

    Live Traffic on Nav

Just to be clear, you realize that if there is no traffic you won't see anything, right? There aren't "green" lines to indicate open traffic, just orange/red to indicate moderate/heavy (respectively). I find this annoying and wish green were an option, FWIW, but if there isn't any traffic...

    Model Y Performance -- 291?

Sorry if this has been covered in another thread, I couldn't find it. Model Y Performance (w/PUP, as that is the only version now sold) is now EPA rated @ 291 miles per Tesla's website. Does this (or will this) apply to our MYP w/ PUPs that were purchased earlier? Everything I've seen...

Model Y have "cost cutting" of recent Model 3?

To be clear, the rearview mirror is auto-dimming, but not the side views (I assume this is same in 3) -- otherwise, all yes. I've paid the $300 to install homelink -- I don't really mind paying for it though it really should come standard with a car at this price point, though I wish it were an...

    Sentry Mode Memory card

I got the sandisk ultrafit recommended by Tesla -- no issues and it's pretty reasonably priced (256 GB is $32 on Amazon).

Deep Blue Metallic Model Y Picture Thread

Okay, nice mix of clouds and sun today so I took some more before she started inevitably to get a bit dirty, these pics show off what this color is all about IMO (depth/reflectivity/different looks in different angles). Hope you enjoy!

Deep Blue Metallic Model Y Picture Thread

Finally got my Deep Blue Metalic detailed/paint corrected/ceramic coated, so had to snap a couple pics and post. Unfortunately it wasn't sunny so you don't see the sparkle (which looks great in direct sunlight) but still shows off nicely even on a cloudy day, I love this color. May snap a...

    Problems with rear hatch

I also have noticed that the right rear part of the tailight rubs against the hatch when it opens. My hatch was fixed but is now acting up again -- ARGH! Same issue, it doesn't close all the way (it closes mostly but I need to push down once mostly closed to get it to latch shut) and when I...

2020.16 is installing now on MY PUP

Notes are the same as already posted for 2020.16, there is a note at the bottom now that says "This release includes minor improvements and bug fixes". Hopefully that includes bluetooth issue.

2020.16 is installing now on MY PUP

2020.16.2 installing now -- I had previously gone to 2020.16. I did have some bluetooth issues yesterday which I hadn't had before, hoping this resolves that.

    Problems with rear hatch

So, initially my hatch seemed to work fine but I had a panel gap alignment issue in the back which I made a service center appointment for. After getting the car back, I had this issue, exactly as OP described. I took it back in yesterday and they adjusted the hatch again, and so far so good...

    X vs Y

One response on this, I did not find the autopilot controls easier to use on the stalk than the wheel. I'm sure I would've gotten used to the stalk just fine over time, but once you've adjusted to using the right hand wheel for speed up/down and following distance, it is incredibly intuitive...

    Front license plate holder.

I got my SnapPlate this weekend for my Y. Works exactly as advertised and super easy to install, appreciate the included screw driver for the specialty plate mount screws. Looks good on the car too, nice and minimalist. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

    X vs Y

Okay, so I thought I'd post a quick thread here that may (or may not) be helpful for those thinking of an X or a Y and the differences between the two. I'm posting this because I just took my Y in to get a few minor items that I noticed during/after delivery fixed up and they gave me an X as a...

    Backseat rear panel coming loose..

They fixed my middle back seat at my first service with a couple other minor issues (though they created another one but that's another story).

    Front license plate holder.

Just ordered the snapplate for Y (live in MD). Looks like a compelling product i was so not into sticking that plate holder onto my front bumper, will be curious to try this out.

Anyone taking delivery of Model Y this week?

Congrats Tony! I have the exact same spec'd YP Blue w/ PUP, and mine is also vin 3xx. I have a couple very minor issues though I've never really looked at these things before and honestly am not sure if it's just the message boards that have me noticing panel gaps! But in any case nothing...

No dual zone HVAC. Heat pump limitation?

Confirmed, fixed for me too, you can now handle on screen. Sweet.

Model Y VIN ending in 01xx...ok to take delivery ?

For what it's worth, when I swapped into mine I took Vin 003XX and had a similar concern but I've totally moved on and love my car. I tend to think for the low VINs it's a bit of trade off in that yes they probably had more early production issues but they were probably moving slower and fixing...

    Homelink on MY?

Well I went ahead and ordered the module even though it still says Model 3 and the "Model Y" version isn't there, hoping install goes smoothly will report back after I get it.

Take a different MY or wait indefinitely..

I switched interior colors (white to black) to get it now and am thrilled, just make sure you'll be happy with whatever you get since you'll be living with it. I personally get a lot of joy just driving it around, and while all else being equal I would've chosen the white interior, it wasn't...

How long do you expect your 21in tires to last

The only tires that are currently on Tire Rack that fit are Michelin Pilot Sports for about 350 a tire, so yeah looking at 1400+. I have pirelli P Zeros (same model as the what we get OEM from Tesla) on my BMW X3 with 20" rims and they've lasted over 20K, so I think you can hope for about 20K...

You definitely pay for whatever car you actually get. They modified my order to match the available VIN.
