The evhub adapter is 100% passthru. The lectron is just the setec adapter that emulates the chademo protocol and is limited in how much power it can deliver.

I can confirm I pulled 170kW using this adapter on a 350kW EA station.

I felt mine with my hand during the charging up to 170kW and it didn't get warm. It was 40F outside so that might have something to do with it.

Both of mine are the 18ft cord. The smaller AWG going to the WC from the breaker can increase the overall resistance and that would could cause the car side cord to get hot.
