Collected car yesterday. Put reg into dvla checker this morning and it is not recognised. Anyone else experienced this?

I've also been told by Tesla staff there's no free charging on collection day. Just they charge it for free before you sign the invoice. The lady asked where I was driving to, so I would have enough power, hopefully.

Thanks for the replies. I've felt better throughout the day so it may be nothing. I'll re-assess tomorrow and give them a call on the day if I feel worse and push for a delivery.

I also thought it weird the back seats don't seem to have anything solid at the extremeties to latch into. What if you have a load of heavy stuff in the boot.

I am due to pick up my M3 on Monday but am starting to feel unwell and not sure if I should or even will be able to travel. Has anyone had to postpone a collection after making the full payment? Any chance of switching to a delivery?

Considered the anti-fox (I think) water sprays that are set to spray on motion? There should be a cheap technology solution to this. E.g. a motion sensor tripping some wild and noisy commotion underneath the car, a la home alone. Surely no rat would want to be around unpredictable motion, light...

For going slightly over the weight limit is there any scope for attaching straps to far side of bike carrier and then inside boot. This would lessen pressure on tow mount maybe?

Don't panic, I'm not thinking of visibly cable tying them! The plan is to glue re-usable cable ties inside the cover, reach in through hole in cover, wrap around alloys and fasten tight. Maybe in 3-4 locations. This should hopefully reduce opportunist theft and stop them coming off from bumps...

Not waiting too long was one of the reasons I cancelled my polestar two order and am collecting my model three on the 16th. That plus other Tesla advantages like the charging network of course.

Just got my text too, no email. Bit worrying if you have an unreliable mobile, as there's no email and they only give you a day to reply?! Ordered inventory on 24th Feb, collecting 16th March in Leeds, 10.30am.

Do delivery / invoice texts tend to happen when the ship your car is in is docked, or on the way? Any ideas?

Is there a consesus on which ship the recent glut of inventory M3s could be on? I got told possibly last two weeks of March, so am assuming my inventory car should be on Glovis.

If I click Overview and see the "Next Steps", they're all ticked apart from Delivery. So "Payment - Review your details and submit your payment" is ticked, but I haven't made any payment yet, or been asked to... Does this mean I get it free? :D

I ordered a M3LR from existing inventory, showing as Southampton. Afterwards I enquired and it was explained it's on a boat and due mid March. I seem to remember reading that London existing inventory, may actually be in the country. Anyone know about that?
