When has a reservation not locked in a price? If I reserve the dual motor CT at $50K and starting in 2022 there's potentially a $10K rebate, why would I expect my price not to be ~$40K?

Nothing to do with the different motor. I have a LR MY with the 980 motor and still got the range increase.

Theoretically they will perform the same when installed into the AWD non-P due to software control, but the 980 motor is binned and capable of performance power output (along with an inverter change I believe).

Give it a day or two and it'll probably go away. I had the same fault on delivery day and was gone in two days. It hasn't come back since.

From Reddit (take with a grain of salt). "I hooked up my Dragy GPS and it ran 12.26 @ 113 mph. 0-60 3.9 with a 1ft roll out. 19" Geminis LR AWD" 3.9sec puts it only 0.4 from the performance! Oh man, if this is verified, it's a no brainer if you were on the fence for the performance.

I have an F (980) motor too. I asked the Model 3 guys and they said there was no difference.

Every American car manufacturer quotes their 0-60 times after the car has moved 1 foot. Tesla is a little deceiving as the Performance models are quoted at their 1 foot rollout times and all the other trims at their real 0-60, making the delta seem greater. If you look at the images that come...
