Went to the beach with the family yesterday for biking, surfing, and body boarding. Bike and 8' foamie board on the roof, and a couple of body boards in the trunk for the four of us.

Did the easy mods first. White puddle light and blue footwell lights to match the car. Also performance pedals. All from AO.

When I get ewe will be the first mods I do, but I am torn on the puddle lights. How bright are they with the Tesla logo? My wife’s Lincoln has the Lincoln logo (standard equipment) and they are bright and cover a lot of area because the logo is wide. My concern is the Tesla logo is narrower that they aren’t goi g to be bright enough where you need them.

I had tint put on my front side windows (I’m in TX where the sun is a beast), and at night, between the window tinting and the blue anti-glare coating of the mirrors, it’s almost impossible to see anything in the side mirrors other than lights.
Same here, I also have a dark tint on the side windows and the view at night is definitely reduced. I’m having to rely more on the cameras. I think it’s more about the tint than the mirrors though.

I have the suma performance side mirros, and no tint on my front windows. I do find it difficult to see backing up at night or into my dark garage if the light is off. The side cameras definitely help, but I need to get myself used to it.

Interesting, seems like the mirrors may be the issue then. Yep, same here. Since I've already installed them, I'll live with them for a while and see if it gets to be an issue or not.

On New Year’s Day we drove from SF to LA and back on Sunday. Driving the MY made the drive seem faster even though we have stop for 30 minutes of charging.

That's one heck of a day trip! I'd bet that's one scenario where the autopilot comes in very handy.

Well, today ended my wait for the Jeda Hub, Wireless charging pad and spacer that was ordered forever ago. The products were very nicely packaged and upon initial inspection everything looked very good.

Everything I ordered was packaged in the two boxes. The hub was in one box, and the wireless charging pad/spacer were in the other. I ordered all of these before I even took delivery, so I didn't know there was an OEM charging pad that worked...but oh well. The spacer I would have needed anyway to allow my iPhone 12 "Supa Maxi uber big" phone to charge, so bonus.

The install was very easy, all said and done it was about 20 minutes end to end. Once installed everything is OEM quality and looks great (that is to say you wouldn't even know it was there unless you know what to look for).

I tested the ports and they all work. My dashcam/sentry mode still work and the USB music is all still there. Also my "supa Maxi too big phone" charges right away on the wireless pad now. Before I had to wiggle/jiggle and pull up on the ledge to get it to charge, and it only did so occasionally.

I'm still bummed about the wait time, but I have to give them kudos for making a very solid feeling, good looking and well packaged product. Now to put some time on it to see if it KEEPS working for a good long time, fingers crossed.
