Rear Small Motor Half Shafts part numbers same as Large Motor?
Does anyone know if the two drive shafts from the rear motor to the wheel hubs are the same parts as on the Tesla Large Rear Motor half shafts? Why use a lead acid 12V battery?
Why doesn't Tesla use a Lithium Ion 12V battery? They make Lithium ion batteries don't they. It would save weight and last longer than lead acid and be a lot less toxic. -

Happy to see we have an E pack
We picked up our P85+ today at Fremont. While sitting at a charger this evening in Monterey, my son crawled under the car to see if we had a "D" pack and were suprized to see the P/N ended with an "E". Anyone know what has changed to roll the part number revision?- rceldib
