For me, with a 30 month old M3, it's only happened the last 6-8 weeks. Not sure what or why they changed anything but it is a huge drawback to running AP, which I do a lot. Please, Tesla, allow me to turn off my own wipers like a responsible adult!

Might be a blessing. Love my car, loathe my windshield. Had an egregious crack fixed by Safelite and numerous other small "dings" in my windshield. Poor overall quality, I'm lucky I do very little highway driving.

Had rock damage repaired by Safelite a few months ago, so far, so good. Have some other small "dings" in the windshield. Really seems like Tesla cheaps out on the quality of windshield glass. I do very little highway driving and do not tailgate and never had this issue with previous vehicles.
