My trim was replaced for free while in service for additional issues. I don’t think it’s wise to wait to have your trim replaced until an update is confirmed. The more people that get their trim replaced the quicker Tesla will move to resolve it. Clearly replacing these must be very costly and...

Why don’t you change your order to a seven seater? Those are going to be a good while before they are produced. Then when you’re ready just change it back to a five seater. Your biggest risk is that you may have reserved at a lower price and will have to pay more for the car, but I’m not sure.

New driver side passenger window glass, driver seat back, carbon spoiler, and rear seat backs all were confirmed in local shop in 5 days. I was surprised so quick. MY PUP is in service as of 10am this morning. Now how long it’s there for us anybody’s guess.
