Does anyone know the real reason why Model X can't have blind spot camera feature when the turn signal is used? It will a great thing to have on the console screen behind the steering. Could not find this question so posted a new one, apologies if its a repeat.

i get this on the 2019 Model X a lot and it still scares me. Almost as if the wheel why fall off or the car will slide away.

Interesting post. I do not keep it connected all the time. Good to hear some recommendations to not keep it connected. The manual says to keep it connected. However, no evidence yet to say not keeping it connected harms the battery in any way.

Does the car calculate usage based on what the motors are truely using? or it is based on how much the battery has drained in the duration?

Hi all, wondering if anyone has used wheels lower than 20" on their Model X? and what is the dfference they find? There are 3 options I could boil down to that come as close as posiible to the original diameter of the OEM 20" wheels. However I am not sure if 18" wheels can fit as the rear brakes...

No. The temperature here in NZ never gets that high, so it should never kick in anyway.

Since the update to 2020.24.6.4 i am back to normal, losing no more than 1% in a day. Hopefully it remains this way.

So far for me I am able to prevent the loss by manually turning off the climate control or aircon (press and hold the fan blades icon) when leaving the car.

I do not charge the car overnight every night. Just when the need be. My method is the same old school way taking 1kWh as 1litre of fuel. I know how much fuel I feed it and I know how many kms it did. Thus when the power is lost every night by the car it gets captured. So the real world true...

true that. the way I look at it the data provided by the car does not help in the long run but only on the that trip of the car. I have a fuelly account where record my charges and just like a normal ICE car it gives me the true efficiency of the car that I am getting in the real world use...

Downhill and flat they are very efficient. We have a tunnel here in Auckland about 2.4kms As there are no cross winds etc, the usage drops to under 70Wh/Km even if you do a constant 80kmph in the tunnel.
