Is there a correlation between VIN and build quality? Or is it just a crapshoot?My VIN is 86xx. Ordered 5/27 and picking up on 6/20.

I don’t think it’s a sales tactic. Tesla is trying to get as many units delivered and sold before end of the quarter. Trying to recover some lost revenue due to the COVID shutdown.

I assume this was a “touchless” delivery. When you have concerns about paint, alignment, etc how did you make that known? Will be picking mine up in 2 weeks from Decatur.

Just got a text today to confirm pick up date. Scheduled for June 20th. As soon as I selected pick up date my MVPA disappeared, however, my delivery date is now showing on my account.

Same configuration Same Same configuration as mine. Didn’t receive any notification that a VIN was assigned, I just happen to see the MVPA was listed under documents on my Tesla account. VIN was listed in it.

No text or email. Received the VIN on 5/31, three days after ordering. Communicated with my local rep and she said most receive their car within 2 weeks of receiving VIN. So I guess I’m just waiting for a delivery date notification at this point. Any others with an Atlanta delivery received...

My apologies. I should have been clear I was replying to the Tesla sales rep’s timeframe quote. There is an article out this morning discussing the “drastically accelerated model Y delivery timeline”.

I ordered 3 days ago and received my VIN today so I expect your wait won’t be that long. I was quoted 8 to 12 weeks when I ordered.

Being new to the forum this may be common knowledge, but my VIN also showed up on my order page under documents/MVPA.

No ac Actually 5/27/20. Three days ago. Maybe they have produced a lot of MSM AWD LR with black interior and 20 inch wheels.
