I'm in since $35 and have been buying and selling options since. Just looking for an earnings play. Clearly it's a gamble that i either lose almost all of it or make maybe 200%

240 and 250 is insanely high. We're nearly half the value of GM right now! GM!!!!! I was thinking how much can we possibly surprise to shoot us that high? It would need to be epic which i don't see happening. We moved up a lot recently so in my hed i'm thinking a solid gamble would be $180 puts...

So where's the stock going with earnings? back down to 180 or up to 220?

idk i started with 4k and turned it in to 30k pretty fast with options but only in leaps. then played with about 2-4k at a time on shorter term stuff. Have about 10k in leaps and then 2k in august calls basically a 100% pure gamble that i may lose in a minute or may double. just for fun i guess...

If i simply held every single thing i bought along the way, i'd probably be up to 200k in profits. for example i had august 150 calls. sold them on friday for a cool 50% gain. could have sold today for way more. This happens to me once a week. i buy stuff and sell it the next day for 50%

No clue but i've been only playing options since march and have been doing damn good. With 4k initial investment i realized over 30k in profits and continue to roll and day trade certain leaps and closer plays. Definitely doing solid.

never driven but friends who got me involved in the stock have and raved about it. I scheduled a test drive but got busy in work so cancelled.

Not sure about you but i'm getting married on Thursday so pre-announcing great earnings would be amazing for me. Or just have amazing earnings on august 7th and maybe i'll extend my honeymoon or stop worrying about spending so much money on a damn couch. NYC living is way too expensive.

I've only been playing options with TSLA since a few months back. currently only hold August $150 calls and Jan 2015 $135 calls.

Just bought more August 150 calls. Lowered my average buy and basically gambling. Any good news or good earnings and i'll make a killing or lose it all.

I got the same story from the NYC store and the Short Hills, NJ store. They did push me to order a loaner car for immediate delivery though they are have almost all of the options and are the max price - some cash for miles on the car.

I am in Aug 17th $150's as my earnings gamble play besides my LEAPS. Do i think it will hit that, no, do i think they will surprise on earnings enough for a mini squeeze possibly yes.

If you worked for the company and had these options lying around wouldn't you exercise at least some of them right now with the stock price so high. I definitely would.

I think we need to see a profit. Tesla blew away numbers last quarter, we need the same this quarter. Gross margin i think is the number 1 priority of this company. Promising 25% GM by the end of the i think the 3Q is pretty insane. We need to see a modest bump in GM this quarter to stay on pace.

Bottom line, are we expecting a big enough surprise in Q2 to see a big jump to say $130?
