    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

Ok. Thanks. Are shocks either working or not (aka digital)? Or do their performance degrade over time? Seems simple enough just to swap the shocks and see whether it solves the problem.

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

Tesla won't let me do that. I may get the Tein Enduro Pro Plus shocks.

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

I suppose it could be an issue. Is it simply just adjusting the stops and seeing the difference?

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

Probably 25K with the lift kit. I live in the city so so lots of hills (and start and stops) as well as potholes/construction zones. So I think it's considered pretty challenging terrain.

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

No I didn't get the strut upgrade. Did you get one? What's the purpose/value of the strut upgrade?

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

Understood. This is a relatively new problem. I'm thinking the shocks have just "worn out"...

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

I get that. But I've had the lift kit for 3 years now. This is a new thing. I'm figuring the lift kit causes faster wear in the shocks (much as the regen/heaviness causes faster tire wear).

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

No it's always been in chill mode with passengers. This is something new.

    Motion Sickness - New Shocks?

2020 MY LR with MPP Lift Kit. 35K miles. Recently passengers have started to complain about motion sickness. Nothing wrong but I suspect that the shocks have worn thus it sways more. It is a heavier than normal car and with it higher than normal it wouldn't surprise me that the torque on the...

    SF/South SF/Daly City Coilover Installers

Any recommendations for SF or South SF/Daly City installers? My Unplugged Performance Mud and Snow Coilovers are finally coming in!

Multiple code bases re FSD vs. non-FSD?

I have a model y with radar. I recently drove an older model 3 with fsd and found autopilot being too aggressive and not as smooth vs my model y (without fsd). My fear is if I subscribe, I will not like the fsd and then if I unsubscribe, the underlying code base will still make my model y...

Dirt and Snow Coilover - Unplugged Performance

They haven't delivered any yet. That said - their Luxury coilovers has reviewed well and since they manufacture through a well known coilovers company - I don't see any reason why this doesn't improve the ride... Just frustrated by the wait though...

Dirt and Snow Coilover - Unplugged Performance

I'm looking at the Dirt and Snow Coilover to raise my model Y by a couple of inches. I don't know much about coilovers. My question regards ride comfort - will it also improve the comfort of the Model Y - especially over rough city streets. I'm comparing this to the Unplugged Performance...

Has ride comfort / stiffness improved?

I think you need to get aftermarket coilovers for your model 3 vs. "upgrading" to a Y. That said - there is a LOT more legroom in the back of the Y and was the reason I purchased the Y over the 3. Back seats recline also. That said - I'm looking into coilovers in the model 3 which improves...

Unmarked Roads - Autopilot vs. FSD

Does fsd work right now for unmarked roads?

Unmarked Roads - Autopilot vs. FSD

I notice that Autopilot won't work on unmarked roads. If I purchased FSD - will that feature become available for me? Ditto for stop signs/stop lights? Or do I need to wait for the FSD 8.x beta release to become available to mere mortals...

Unmarked Roads - Autopilot vs. FSD

I've noticed with that standard Autopilot doesn't work on unmarked roads. If I purchase the FSD - will my MY Tesla begin working on unmarked roads? Or do I need to wait for the city turn release?

Tire chains for Model Y LR

My understanding with Teslas is that they may have clearance problems (model 3 had that problem). I suppose I should just wait until Tesla comes out with their recommendations/sell it on their website.

Tire chains for Model Y LR

Thoughts on appropriate tire chains for a model y? When would you expect Tesla recommending a set of tire chains?

Quality of new MY's - is it better now?

My understanding was that the seat issue is fixed for the MY with black seats but not the early white seats (which are more noticeable). I believe it takes a new part. I would assume that the key is to look at the serial number - the one I turned down was in the 14xxx. I just got a notice for...

Rear Seats - Not Aligned on Delivery

I was picking up a model Y and saw the same issue (it's really apparent with white seats). The salesperson said that it "wasn't" fixable. I looked a number of other model Y's and I saw some of them aligned. I didn't think of testing the recline function and the auto folddown (other than in...
