I've had Teins on MY 22 Performance for over a year and 12k miles now and I've had 0 issues or complaints... but with the Megan rear camber arms I can't say the same lol.

They did update the design but this guy shows how it still has issues… please watch this video around the 5 min mark on. I purchased mountain pass camber arms and will be posting a review/comparison when they get here

Yeah super sad really and I didn't think to look in those forms before I bought them but did see one or two positive comments here. Also, coming from the Subaru community previously, Megan was a known to be a pretty decent bang for the buck.

Just installed a set of 20 inch forged Variant Argon wheels in gloss black on my Y Performance. I kept my 25mm spacers on and its lowered on Tein coilovers.

Very temping! I might have to swap the tires to look right on a y. I’m out of the country right now but if these are still available next week I might be willing to make a drive from Az to Cali to scoop these up.

I can’t find a good place for a 1/4 mile run but got this just now going uphill onto the freeway. I have Geminis on my 22p with 275s all around 82% charge.

I can’t talk about the ev offer one but on my hansshow frunk kit if i start to manually close the frunk by putting pressure on the hood it finishes closing auotmated.

Agreed I have the Hansshow auto frunk and never had any issues always shows the current state and it functions like it was oem. But I think some people rush the install or had issues with older non waterproof models.

I could have used some front camber arms also but got it pretty good in spec at Firestone

Yep, I forgot how much exactly I needed to lower the front to match but I think it was .6 I don't know for sure if you will need any camber arms but I got the Megan racing eBay ones for $150 for the rears. Im going to get it aligned next week when I have time off work.

Tein Recommends 8 clicks from fully stiff. That felt a little soft/floaty still for me so I changed mine to 5 clicks from fully stiff and it feels perfect! Edit: Add current picture

This is what my 2022 performance looks like on teins with the Ubers on and the bonoss 20mm spacers all around

Installing per the instructions will get you stock height on a performance model y or dang close. I wanted lower so i completely bottomed out the adjusters in the rear and matched the front based on where the rear was.

I have mine 5 clicks turned back from full stiff all around. It seems softer than stock but not floaty like it did on 8 clicks per the recommendations in the tein manual.

Same tein flex coilovers but installed Bonoss 20mm spacers all around today and it’s sitting a lot more flush!

Just installed Tein Flex Coil overs for the 3/Y. Feels a lot better on bumps and in the corners! I’m very impressed

Just installed on my Y. I went completely max low in the rear and it seemed to drop about .7 from stock performance so I lowered the front coilovers .7 lower and it seems to sit pretty good. My 20mm spacers come on Friday! So far the ride is so smooth even though it’s lower and handles like it...

Mine thumps with any door open. It will auto close and suck in with the doors shut. Try it out yourself

This company sells/installs TEIN coilovers that they state are interchangeable with the 3 and Y or for about the same price I can get a slightly used set of unplugged coilovers from my friends 3 performance. Has anyone run model 3 coilovers on their Y?

So I can get a great deal on a used unplugged performance model 3 coil over set. From what I can find out they should fit the same but (might)have different dampening or spring rates? Isn’t the weight difference like 400lbs from 3 to y? Is it that much of a deal breaker?

Just swapped on a set of triple bronze powdercoated geminis on my performance. Tires are static 275/40/19 color combo probably isn’t for everyone but I love it and wow you can tell the weight difference!

I’m in AZ and still waiting on my order for my parents. Ordered 6/28/21 Red Y LR with Geminis. Never put on hold and had a delivery window of the end of April. Some how it was put on hold and nobody at tesla can tell me why but now my estimated date is July 5th - August 16th

My date was also put on hold without me asking and the service center said they couldn’t tell me why. My date went from this month to July-august. I ordered 6/28/21 y long range red in Arizona.

June 28th order date. Red LR with Gemini’s. Original date was January delivery. Has been bouncing around. For the last month it had delivery in may and changed to 2 week window 05/05 - 05/19. Yesterday 05/05 I kept checking and no change and today it moved to 07/05 -08/15

I had this issue this week with my 22 myp. Never had this issue with the 20 model 3. Luckily it’s gone up both times it’s happened but it’s happened to both drivers windows. I just updated to 12.3.1 and hope it fixes it and I’ll try the calibration also.
