I'm in Canada driving in freezing temperatures with a Performance on 20 inch winter tires and I get 250 Wh/km, which is around 400 Wh/mile. So there are lots of factors that can decrease range.

I have the Performance and I think the increase in charging speed only applies to the SR.

Ordered Oct 21, installed Nov 18. I got the 20" Performance winter wheel package so it's Sottozero 2.

I got the Performance and absolutely no regrets. The power is amazing. It's a ~3.1 sec car, versus ~4.4 sec for the AWD and even slower for the SR+. Money-wise, the Performance Model 3 is about the same as a BMW M340i. But you get M3 level acceleration. Go for the Performance Model 3.

Big repairs like this are really concerning for would-be buyers of used out of warranty Teslas and can really lower resale value. In your case Tesla should absolutely cover the entire cost, since the issue was identified while in warranty.

Having a price history is useful for used car valuations. A general rule of thumb is that cars typically depreciate 50% in 3 years, give or take.

Thanks, good point. My car is still pending delivery but I ordered on March 20 so AP is $4000 and FSD is $6600 on top of that. Apparently if I want FSD after delivery it's $9200 (Woah!). I wish my FSD is $3000 but no dice.
