Exactly, stereo is meant to create the feeling that sound is coming from all around you. To get the full effect of Tesla's 'Immersive' sound, you kinda need speakers in the back!

I reached out to Hannshow to inquire if they'll be making a kit for newer SR+ without rear speakers. I really want to upgrade the sound, but this kit isn't worth it if I'm missing the rear speakers altogether.

The rear speakers are definitely not for the backseat passengers. They provide a surround sound effect. Just doing the front isn't worth it at all. It'd be like having only a center channel speaker with your Home Audio set up. Which isn't how music is meant to be listened to!

I'd be interested in the professional version, but not if my Model 3 doesn't have the rear shelf speakers. I have either an Aug 20 build I believe.

I'm interested to know more about this as well. I don't believe the newer SR+ has rear deck speakers though, so I'm surprised this package doesn't include them.

That's definitely true, but with the matching grey rims, I think the mind goes to grey first before a washed-out black. Hard to tell in pictures regardless.

Telus. I went through teslas webchat and tried all troubleshooting methods. Nothing worked. They're going to escalate it to their advanced technical team, who will get back to me in 7-10 days. The car has less than 2000kms and has 3 service requests in now! Yikes.

Anyone have a solve for this? The Tesla App (Android) isn't connecting to my car. It just says connecting at the bottom bar and keeps spinning round till it times out and says "Vehicle Connection Error." Have tried power-cycling, logging in/out, and un/re-installing multiple times. Please help!

They had a bunch of different configurations on the lot actually. 1 maybe 2 white on white with sport wheels, a few red and blue with aeros, 1 or 2 red and white, but mostly white with aeros.

If you've ordered an SR+ with 18"s in Vancouver call Tesla and book a delivery ASAP! My parents hadn't received a VIN or text, I called asking about my SR+ with 19"s that I had ordered 8/12 and they said they only had models with 18"s if was interested in a different config. Asked if we could...

I don't remember exactly, but about half the cost is gear, half is labour/wiring. Including my own estimate for what the sub / speakers will cost from Tesla... I think it'll be under $2k all-in, including install, amps, and an LC7i.

I've bought the full chrome delete kit and interior vinyl (dash, console, steering, switches) in anticipation of my white M3 with sport wheels (which I'll eventually powder coat). I'll let you know how it looks in September!

Quick update in case anyone else comes across this thread in the future... David at RPM Electronics says doing an install of the OEM sub/enclosure and rear deck speakers is no problem. He even suggested a few amp combinations to run it that are reasonably priced. In fact, he corrected himself...

Someone I know ordered a white/black with 18 inch wheels last week and just got a 1-4 week text message from Tesla. I ordered a white/black with 19 inch wheels on the 12th and got the 3-6 week message on the 19th.

Thanks Amdax, I've reached out to RPM and glad to hear your happy with your system a year on! I think I'm going to look into purchasing the OEM speakers and subwoofer/enclosure from Tesla directly. Adding an aftermarket amp/s to run it. Hopefully RPM is able to do the installation.

I'm waiting on an SR+ and am also looking into this. So far have been given a first quote of just over $5K from Soundsgood. I'm positive the workmanship and quality of the gear are great, but for me right now, that price is unreasonable to 'just' get to the same level as the premium sound...

Thanks for the reply. I never considered that perspective on warranty. I'm slightly risk averse, especially when it comes to an arguably newer tech vehicle, so this may be a big factor.
