I wish you could just activate the cameras on the screen. If you put your directional on while driving, it auto pops up on the screen showing you the side...and maybe add a chime too? Honda has had this for how long? Simple software update and optional feature.

I’m trying to stay positive but seeing VINs assigned to orders placed a week ago on the East coast is really bumming me out. When did this flip last quarter?

If I had to guess it’s adhoc and based on cancellations. I think beginning this upcoming week you’re going to see a surge of west coast VINs and deliveries. My guess is it would flip now for mid west and East coast, meaning we can finally be the ones receiving VINs everyday haha

I get that, but door alignment and minor defects (charging door flush) are entirely different in my mind. I haven’t seen anyone on here say they can’t their door aligned. In fairness, when Tesla brings Germany and China online, I guarantee huge quality improvements. This is the price we pay...

Glad to see some of us in SoCal got our 1-3 week text. This will be the longest 1-3 weeks ever I wouldn’t stress too much if I were you, you’re so close to the factory that you could get a call in a day for delivery. If I was closer to Fremont I would be driving there weekly to ask haha.

Maybe they sent it back to HQ for re-work or had it done on premise and have to keep the same VIN. Really hope it’s just an error and it all works out in your favor.
