Follow up: Heard from Tesla that this is a known issue that will be addressed in a coming update. We shall see.

Update on Vredestein Quatrac Pros. Close to 1k and efficiency still at or below Conti’s. Even with colder weather these new shoes perform well and compete evenly with previous OEM tires.

New Vredestein Quatrac Pro’s. Just under 1000 miles and my efficiency has improved over Conti’s. Probably some differences in driving and climate, so mostly a wash. Really like the tires, slightly softer. Wet roads are no problem. We shall see in winter.

This may have been clarified more recently, but I believe the designation of the MY as an SUV is critical in determining if the tax incentive applies. If it is, then it will fall under the cost cap. If no, then it will not. Hope this helps.

There are so few supercharging stations in VT, losing these in the middle of summer travel is pretty ridiculous.
