I did the install myself. It’s not hard but it is time consuming. Definitely helps if you have skinny arms. Most of my time was getting the struts off and on, and tidying up the wiring with zip ties

I had the Tesmanian ones and did not like them because the flaps did not fit tight to the wheel well. I got the Basenor ones from Amazon and they fit much better. There are extra retention clips on the Basenor one that allow it to fit closer to the wheel well

Nice review, however, you didn't mention if the ones you had were for the 2020 or 2021 MY. The 2020 ones from Taptes fit terrible on the 2021, especially with the re-designed front seat in the MY. Taptes has the new 2021's listed on their website but I don't think anyone has received a set yet.

I'd still have the S/C check the coaxial cable. Tesla changing the revision number of the part leads me to believe they identified some issue would the old part and made improvements to the new cable. I would record a video of it as the s/c asked for it incase they couldn't reproduce the problem.

Just make sure to check their work. The first two time, the lint/hair was so obvious, it made me question their work quality. Hopefully they have improved. Good luck.

Sorta, but there are still some areas that had some small lint. We just gave up because it took them 2 hours to redo a window.

I had my wife's RDX tinted at Socal Tint Shop about a year ago. I had to go back twice to have certain windows redone due to large lint and hair trapped in the tint. Hopefully they're better now.

I believe so too. Most I heard that have the issue were March builds. Mine was built 3/3, so Tesla probably got a batch of faulty cables from their supplier.

I saw the YouTube videos for the rear bolt and was prepare for the headache. I used a 10mm socket, went slow and it came out without issue. I did check the bolt and it had yellow threadlocker on it

Just installed my mud flaps from Tesmanian. Was prepared to use the tips from the youtube video posted above but I didn't have any trouble removing the two 10mm bolts from the rear.

I called a few places and N-Tech quoted one of the cheaper prices for a full matte PPF. Looks like they have done a few high-end cars, so I might go with them.
