I wonder how common camera faults are more generally with Tesla. When I drove a Model S on a test drive in September before deciding on an M3, a rear camera was faulty. Just hope this isn't going to be an ongoing issue with Tesla cameras.

My understanding is that some of the leasing companies are organising the reg much earlier whereas if you've ordered direct, you can get your VIN, but the reg is usually around a week before pick up.

The 10th digit of your VIN = L meaning it’s a 2020 (model M=2021 refreshed model) which means it’s very unlikely to have a heat pump. Question now is whether you just take it or see if you can hold off for a 2021. If you would prefer a refresh then probably best to ring them and se how long it...

Yes, interesting looking back, found this post back in April. In some cases there was the option (at own cost) to have the car delivered for a fee. At least it looks like we should all get our cars one way or another :)

Please excuse my ignorance, but why would Grand Dolphin be going to the far east when they can send ships from China? Equally why do they send ships now from China to Europe when it's faster from the US? Presume there's a good reason??

If you look at a model 3 in the inventory and view the page source, you'll see the hidden VIN's in there, but they only show the first few characters 5YJ3188 - not sure if they used to show the whole VIN which would give model year etc

Might be worth phoning them and see if you can get it matched?
