Phone not connecting to car upon walkup

So I did a bit more testing today, I opened the App on my phone 3 minutes beforehand and hovered around the car before trying to pull the door handle and this worked perfectly and I could also drive away after jumping in. Returning to the car a bit later on (with the Tesla App still running on...

Phone not connecting to car upon walkup

So guys I have two Android phones, one functions perfectly every time you walk up to the car, open the door and drive away. The other has always been a problem, so I always open the App at least 100 metres away in preparation of standing there like a lemon trying to get into the vehicle, it...

    USB Audio Interface

Hi Guys, I have my music collection on my USB memory stick (roughly 100,000 tracks) and within the screen's audio interface there does not seem to be a way to type the name of songs or artists into a search field to find what you are looking for on the USB. For example, I have "Bonobo" in my...

No audio bug in Model 3

This happened to me last week, I was sat in the car parked up for about an hour or so waiting for someone with the radio on, all of a sudden the audio cut-out, I thought nothing of it and drove off, then I realised there was no indicator sounds or warning chimes or navigation audio. I performed...

Phone quality in model 3 over audio

I've never actually used my charging pad yet (my phone doesn't support it) so I leave it unplugged. The strange thing is, all my calls sound absolutely perfect on my end, it's always the caller on the other end that seems to have the "Falling Down A Well" echo, they say that its not for the...

    Mobile Phone Voice Dialling UK

Hi Guys, Pretty much every car I have had for the past 10 years has had mobile phone voice dialling and i must admit its quite a basic function that does what its supposed to. Unfortunately in the Model 3 I am really struggling and have eventually given up using voice control at all. Admittedly...

Phone quality in model 3 over audio

Hi Guys, I too have had other people that call me (or vice versa) state that at least once every single time that we have a conversation, at some point there is an echo as if i am “Falling Down A Well”. I have an Android phone and as yet have not been on the motorway (Freeway), so this can...

    External Filter and cover

Thanks Traguar, I believe you are correct, I did think I had the older Model 3 but was told to check if the USB ports are Type-C (which they are) so i’m guessing that the UK has a different shape duct than the USA. I’ll have a look around for the older style cover.

    External Filter and cover

Hi Guys, So i've seen these air intake covers on Amazon & Ebay that apparenly stop leaves getting sucked in under the edge of the bonnet (near the wipers), so I decided to go ahead an purchase one as they are quite cheap. Unfortulnately as you can see in the photo, Tesla must have changed the...

Paint Protection Film - Worth It?

Hi Guys, I read somewhere on the internet that Tesla are planning to make PPF free to new and existing Model 3 owners that reside in "Tough" climates, in the example, I beleive Canada was quoted. Would you know if there is any truth to this? (I'm currently based in the UK).
